NHL TV reported he was hit along the board and did not play after that.

Crosby line had been sizzling but was a combined minus-9 tonight.

Knuble takes penalties but you can't deny his tenacity on the boards and in front of the net. He helps keep offensive possession and he's a smart player defensively even if he isn't a good skater. McGinn will get his due. It's good to have some depth.

Kind of like that Pronger did when reporters asked him about Burish calling him an idiot love it!

Just reading up on the PS4, the graphics card has 1.83 terraflops, or 1.0 James Neals.

Does this rivalry match the redwings/ Avalanche of the 90's and early 2000's?

Not yet. I dont think it any rivalry will get that bad, those two teams literally wanted to murder each other .

This is the 5th time in the last 2 seasons Flyers have overcome a 2-goal deficit to beat the Pens. (3 in reg-season)

My theory's been that going into the season with Harts and Simmer, Lavi had a very specific (more so than most teams) strategy that he needs to commit to, so much so that if one of them is missing he wants a fill-in that can do the job, just so the flow doesn't get all messed up. And that no one else on the team can do it. So even if he sucks horribly in other areas, it's better than the whole system collapsing. Something like that.

Also, didn't they go out and get him when Simmonds went down? I might have panicked too with both of them out at the same time.

I could be way off obviously.

You made me snort the pizza I was chewing, and my nose is bleeding now.

Worth it.

Hope Matt is ok and can get rolling soon. What a game huh? THey just kept coming and coming at the pens net. Brayden Scheen is a pistol. Kid has legs like tree trunks and can deliver some power when he hits. Just a good team effort in a hostile place. 2 points!

On the Pens +/- thread for the game tonight everyone keeps giving Malkin a minus for being invisible.

Where's that picture of Couturier under Malkin's bed again?

If Read is out for a bit hurt, maybe call up that German kid

After such a bad start to the season, Voracek is breathing down the neck of the top ten in scoring, 12th overall. Jeff who?

Awww.. I feel bad for him, he won us 2010 Worlds with absolutely beastly goaltending through the tourney including a final win over Russia, who had stronger roster than at the Olympics that year...
