Apparently Sunday was Ruff's birthday, too.

Happy Birthday, Lindy!

Fun trivia: try to mispell Sabres by reversing the "r" and the "e."

He really wasn't that great of a coach to last 16 years in one place. The ownership issues in Buffalo extended his term there, but if it had been steadier, I wonder how long Ruff really would have lasted.

During Ruff's tenure with the Sabres, the flyers have played 46 different goaltenders.

46.

On second thought, let's not get O'Reilly. The team might almost let him die in a tub and Scott Stevens will probably blast his brain apart in a decade.
That "manifesto" is so poorly written. I can't believe an adult wrote that.

When Polak was able to stand again, did the goalpost survive the retribution?

Berglund (Blues) just got knocked silly on a blind-side hit; he passed the puck and turned the other way, only to step into a hard shoulder on the chin. He went down like a Douglas fir, and the close-up showed way too much white in the eyes.

Thanks for your correction, SS. I was sure the announcers said Berglund. Then again, Tarasenko may think he's Berglund right now.

Hope tarasenko is ok. Last thing this league needs is another future star with concussion issues...

I'm looking at you skinner, you selfish jerk.

Going to be weird to see the Sabres without Ruff, but it's clear his act had run its course.

Strange too, I used to hate them. Now, meh.

I know. How dare Skinner get a concussion?! Now everybody will want one.

And just for fun: Bret Sabrehagen

Interesting. Brian Burke has re-joined the Anaheim Ducks as a part-time pro scout.

Sounds like quite a few ****** injuries throughout the NHL tonight. Anisimov's sounded scary too.
