Tarasenko injured [YT#1]

That looked bad but the Olver (I believe) hit was clean IMO. It was just unfortunate. I hope he's alright.

1) Hit from the blind side
2) Head principal point of contact
3) Slightly late

Can't say it was intentional, but it was definitely reckless. He'll get a game.

Different league...doesn't count.

I hope he's ok.

As far as I can tell it was clean, similar to Stuart on Landeskog in that there was head contact, but not "dirty" or suspendable head targeting.

His eyes looked like they were in the back of his head when he was laying on the ground, not pretty.

Looked like he may be minus a tooth or two on his lower bridge also. Clean hit all the way!

Yeah Trollver destroyed him.

It was slightly late, I don't think it was malicious because it wasn't to the head. Looked more like it was to the jaw.

Trollver's arm was not sticking out but was inf ront of his chest and was the main point of contact.

Borderline. I'm sure Blues fans will say that we don't have a right to say that after complaining about Landeskog but I stand by that.

There's about a 0% chance he'll get suspended on a clean hit.

Other than head contact, the hits were totally different. Stuart on Landeskog was a north-south hit, this was from the blind side. That's not to say that I think that the hit was dirty, but it definitely was reckless.

No way. Keep in mind, there is no such thing as a 'late hit' anymore.

If the Stuart hit on Landeskog was clean, this was definitely clean.

Clean hit. Hit to the head only because of the height difference but was a bit late. Not intentional, one game or small fine if anything.

was only "slightly late" in hi def super slo mo. clean hit. VT turned right into it, the head was not targeted in any way though it did take the brunt of the contact from olvers shoulder.

He was definitely out on the ice. I thought the hit was fine, but it's a hard one to protect yourself from, a guy coming from out of the play to hit you right as you turn around .

Someone will go after Olver, he's Ennis size small.

"Blind side" isn't part of the head hit description/criteria any more

and Tarasenko before the hit was delivered.

Now that I think of it, it was pretty similar to Dustin Brown on H Sedin last years playoffs.

Hopefully Tarasenko isn't hurt too bad. Great kid, never like to see stuff like that.

So how is it better if he hits him from behind if he didn't?

Looked very ugly. Since I remember the Avs fans saying the Stuart hit was illegal, that is what I will call this one. I am outraged.

I really do hope he is okay, he looked in very poor shape when the camera picked him up and his jaw looked pretty screwed up as he skated off like something was a miss there.

I hope the kid is OK. He looked pretty out of it when he was on the ice. Hate seeing guys go down like that.

Would of been a hit from behind if Tarasenko hadn't turned after passing the puck
