I'm waiting to hear what the doctors say before I jump to any conclusions about Tarasenko's condition.
I don't want to either, but he had no idea what planet he was on. If there was ever a time that I could say somebody was concussed, I'd say it was this one.
It's too early to speculate how significant the injury is. Remember Thornton's hit on Perron? Perron went back into the game and scored a goal.
Yes I do, but that was also right before the NHL's crackdown on head shots idt they had the "dark room" or whatever then. All I'm saying is his look after the hit + previously suffering a concussion in the KHL this year, I wouldn't expect him back for a couple weeks at least.

How does nobody stand up for Tarasenko after he takes that hit?! I'd love to know that none of my teammates have my back.
I'd say most players probably thought it was a bad luck play as opposed to a vicious cheap shot (and I'd agree with them). Also, tight game in the 3rd period.
No way that isn't a concussion, Tarasenko didn't know what planet he was on after that hit. It's frustrating to see a plug like Olver potentially end Tarasenko's season though. Just move on to the next game, if we have that many chances every game we'll be fine the rest of the season.
Tarasenko looked completely lost after he got hit. My prediction is he'll be out for a bit.
It is what it is though, I'm not that pissed about it. Hockey's a fast game, it was just a hockey play...big hit. Unfortunate, but that's part of the game. No use in getting all mad about it...
Really? I could've sworn he had one that's my mistake in that case. I'm still pessimistic about his injury though, after the Perron, Steen, and to a lesser extent McDonald expiriences I'm not very hopeful.

They initially diagnosed him with a concussion, but later they said it wasn't. He was held out for a couple of games as a precaution, but it wasn't serious.
I think it's too much hockey too quickly for Andy Mac. His game is predicated on speed, and when he's playing 3 games in 4 nights consistently throughout the season, he's just running on fumes. I think platooning with D'Ags every few games would be good for him. Well, if Tarasenko is out for an extended period of time, then he won't have anyone to platoon with I guess.

Looks like dags might be getting some time. Need Schwartz to step up big time.
