He got an assist on a EN goal, forgive me if I'm not doing backflips that he had a multi-point game.

You as unimpressed as I am?

I want so bad for him to be an NHLer. An effective one.

What a sad season for him (so far).

He also picked up a PP goal and I think it's his second straight 2 point game. It's a step in the right direction after a terrible start for him.

He's (Caron) looked a little bit more interested since he came back, that's all I can say.

@MarkDivver

"When @AHLBruins leave Wed. for 10-hr bus trip to Norfolk, Camper, Tardif & Trotman (upper body), Sauve & Warsofsky (lower), won't be aboard"

"Winger Alden Hirshfeld will be recalled from South Carolina by @AHLBruins and will meet the team in Norfolk later this week"

Camper and Tardif will be missed on offense. Baby Bs just going to have to grind this these two games out.

I'm curious who makes the call on these secondary transactions in Providence. Does Bruins management get involved or do they leave it up to the coaching staff in Providence?

Depends. Back when Laviolette was coach, he was trusted to pick guys from the ECHL whom he knew from his time down there, and he was pretty good at it. Same with Gordon. But my guess is that Tremblay, being a Bruins draft pick was on their list already. I know Don Sweeney does a lot down there.

Curious question? Can Bobby RObbins play hockey? I know what his statline says but I don't see any PB games. I hate the goon player that can only fight and can't play worth a lick (i.e John Scott). We'll eventually need to replace Thornton - is Robbins able or is MAcDermid tough enough??

Bobby is a pretty good defensive player for the AHL level. Offensively....no.

Good to know. He doesn't need to have much in the way of offence. Just can't be a liability to have out their. I know MacDermid can play a bit, not sure if he is tough enough though.

Bobby's problem is he's on the wrong side of 30 and has had to spend every single night proving he belongs at the AHL level with his limited skill set. That takes a toll.

The guy has no shortage of work ethic though and he seems to be a real character guy.

I honestly would LOVE to give him a shot on the big club if Thornton got injured.

Good stuff. Svedberg has won 10 in a row and 13 of his last 14 starts.

Providence is on an 11-1 run.

And Bartkowski assisted on all 3 goals. Two by Mink (both PP) and a SH goal by Whitfield.

"Carter Camper, Jamie Tardif and Zach Trotman have upper-body injuries, and Max Sauve and David Warsofsky have lower-body injuries."

Done without some key player(s) as well.

Anyone with "middle body" injuries?

You guys who are able to see Providence on a regular basis, is Svedberg ready to play in the NHL next year? There is a high probability of Khoudobin not resigning with us for next year.

I think he's progressed faster than any Providence goalie under the age of 25 I can recall.

Still leaves a lot of rebounds out there and high glove side might be an issue, but he's getting better.

Sounds like he has done very well. His development is impressive considering it is his first year playing in and adjusting to North America.
