Bryz starts. It'd be nice if we had a real backup goalie so Bryz could rest.

I would play Bryz 95% of all games. It's time to put your big boy pants on and play dam near every game. Rest after the last game of the season.

I agree I'm just thinking we'll need him to be fresh for the playoffs if we make them.

I'd worry about that when we're closer to making them...and we need Bryz to play in order to make them.

And thats the point.

Why does this organization continue to bring in over the hill ****** back-ups, leaving NO CHOICE but to start Bryz.

You'll notice that strong teams have back-ups that can actually win games when they play.

Leighton and Boucher only make the NHL roster of one team, and thats the Flyers.....

Well I agree with you on Leighton, but I don't know if any other teams would trade a better backup. The only ones I've seen really move are Joey MacDonald and Henrik Karlsson, both of which I'm not sure are better than Boucher.

Bryz might want the start pretty badly, you know he has to be bothered by some of those goals and wants redemption.

Big emotional game last night, the way things have gone this year I'd expect a loss, BUT last night could fuel this team and give them a little jump in their step, here's to the boys coming out physical and ready to play

Exactly. If we had a competent backup we wouldn't need to start Bryz every game. He has the most starts in the league.

If McGinn isn't playing, I don't understand the point of keeping him up here scratched every day. Send him back to the AHL and let him play.

I think they need to keep him on the roster until Hartnell returns.

i dont know, i think a key factor in Bryz playing so well is the very fact hes playing so dam much..

its keeping him in the zone and sharp as a razor

Come on I put money on the Flyers tonight as I thought a big win from last night will have a positive carry over effect for tonights game but all I'm reading is the contrary as last nights win from many posts will have a negative effect on tonights game?

I thought it was a big win for your team and playing against the lowly Panthers I see a convincing win here.

GL flyers for this game

I know but there's still a point where playing him too much is bad. For instance, 2 seasons ago the Rangers played Hank for almost every game and he was burnt out for the playoffs. We all know that Hank is one of if not the best goalie in the league.

Bryz plays better when he starts a ton of games. (Look at his PHO record)
Lets get his rhythm going!

This is a game they have to win to ne taken seriously as a playoff contender. It doesn't matter that the opponent is a lousy Florida team. They need to show that they can keep their level of play at a high calibre night after night.

I feel like every player will be drained to an extent when the playoffs roll around. Might as well use your best player every night
