It's not about losing patience, it's about using the opportunity to utilize the cap when your best players on on their ELC's.

Schultz came here because he saw the opportunity to get a tonne of playing time, and because he saw the potential for us to turn into a winner. If we trade any players away, get him a very good D partner, and become a winner, he is going no where.
Really, the only time I can think of a player being irked over a buddy getting dealt was when Messier wanted out after the Graves trade, but that was really more the straw that broke the camel's back after the steady dismantling of the dynasty team by Pocklington.

We have too many holes, odds are we aren't winning when these kids are on their ELC.

We're making comments about a Philly hype machine and people are saying they won't trade Eberle for anything short of Crosby or Malkin. Wow.

Eberle is and always will be better than Yak. All i know is Yak has great hand/eye. yet to see top 6 hockey from him or top 6 potential for that matter.

According to you, also Daigle. Ditto Hall and RNH. So your opinion isn't really worth much at this point.

Posts in frustration don't count!
What have you seen that makes you think Yak will be better than Eberle? that's right, nothing.

The numbers he put up in junior that are comparable to Stamkos?

I think Yak has a better set of tools to work with. Better skater, better shot, better size/strength. Time will tell, I could be wrong. But it's not as outrageous as thinking Yakupov isn't even a top 6 player

Are we really questioning if yakupov( 15 gas in NHL) or eberle 3 years older and 1 season of NHL plus ahl time, eberle has had a ton of time being used to NA hockey and small ice, yakupov is 15 games into this. Yakupov has tremendous skill and seems to have some trouble getting used to the left wing, in honestly not worried about him, not to mention he's 5th in team scoring while "struggling"

Junior numbers don't always translate to success in the NHL. I'm going to have to see more from Yakupov to start thinking he's better than Eberle. I'll be quite happy if he turns out equal to be honest.

He's played like 10 games in the NHL. A good chunk of them on a line with Belanger.

Debatable for sure. He doesn't look top 6 right now.

Only three or four players on the team look impressive right now. Eberle, RNH both look lost.
