I have seen 7 mostly good games in a row.
Mostly, yes that's true.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to at least get a losers point out of the Flyers, Pens or Toronto game which we definately would have deserved.

It's not just Murphy that is green though. They have 4 defensemen who haven't even played a full 82 games yet for their career and the 2 "experienced" guys (Harrison and Corvo) we thought would be our bottom pairing at the start of the season.

Here is the experience of Carolina's blue line for tonight:

Murphy: 0 GP
Jordan: 2GP
Sanguinetti: 18GP
Faulk: 79 GP
Harrison: 216 GP
Corvo: 653 GP

Stop it with your dang logic... it interferes with my subjective views; I have a right to have an opinion which means my opinion must be right:
  • the forwards suck; they can't score; most overrated players ever
  • the defense suck; they can't play defense, only offense; most overrated players ever
  • Noel is a terrible coach who has never made one right decision; most overrated coach ever
  • Chevy should have brought in Parise, Suter and Semin; most overrated GM ever

I see some of the things I have brought to this board are needing explanations.

For some reason today's GDT is chock-full of em.

Jets win by 8 wickets
My prediction:

Jets 17 Hurricanes 10

Mark Sanchez throws 3 interceptions, but we manage to shut down the vaunted Miami Hurricanes offense. As long as we focus our defense on Willis McGahee and prevent Ken Dorsey from hooking up with Andre Johnson, we should be fine.

Good points. I tend to agree and don't seek to split hairs. Just a couple of points...

I personally wouldn't count the Panthers games as indicative of anything. Maybe I'm not giving them enough respect but they seem to be the Columbus of the East. We should beat them even if we flounder. The Cats won a lot of shootouts last year and their high OTL thus far suggests the can't keep that luck going.

The Ottawa game was a nice tight road game as I've seen the Jets play. Their execution was much better starting in this game, I agree.

I honestly thought we looked flat for the Flyers game. Crowd was passive too. Just a flat game all around.

Then things picked up!

Stuart and Clitsome as our first pairing, 3 AHL freshmen, and an OHL player? That certainly puts their injuries in perspective.

Although, it certainly would be entertaining and "exciting".

A bit of joking around in the 'Canes GDT:

Quote:
First 50 fans who show up in a jersey, pads, and skates gets to play a shift on defense for the Canes.
Why do I get the feeling that their blueline and Ward will play out of their minds tonight.
