Someone who can actually finish.

-The particular poster who hates him.

A top 6 winger for Havlat doesn't sound bad, but Ottawa doesn't have any .

Wingers with top 6 potential are our prospects Silfverberg and Zibanejad, then there's Michalek of course, and Greening (he's either Spezza's winger on the first line, or a decent 4th line player).

Last game they had a great chance in front of the net and he missed his guy with an 8 foot pass by quite a bit. I haven't noticed him much in his own end.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I hope you feel better stat.
Last i checked Joe Thornton led the nhl in giveaways this year.

Show me a giveaway per possession time statistic and I'll start caring.

Edit: Just checked, he is nowhere near the top of the league in giveaways this year.

Also, the Tank is notorious for inflating giveaway stats.

Talk about a trade that didn't work out. Can't we just try to ship him off for some picks or something?
Well, what do you suggest we do, sir?

You can't "inflate" faceoff stats, they're percentages.

Fans of other teams have claimed the tank gives the Sharks more faceoff wins than what they really had.

I doubt it, though.

It's possible, but until I see proof or a strong piece of evidence, I won't consider it.

Like the giveaways, for example, Sharks are first in home giveaways, with 120 in 8 home games, and 26th in road giveaways with 31 in 7 away games. That's a ridiculous difference. It's always like this. We were 27th in road giveaways last year and 3rd most in home giveaways last year.

Actually, that's fascinating, I think you are ruling out a very important factor worth considering here. There is clearly a key difference about playing at home that causes the Sharks to give the puck away more. Some thing, or a person, that never travels with the team...

Sharkie.

Sharkie is the cause of all or our misfortune. It's clear.

Maybe other teams DEFLATE our number of give-aways. Cause it sure feels like we lead the league in them every time I watch the Sharks at the Tank
