I expect that Invicta will have a more friendly relationship with Zuffa than Bellator and will be more willing to serve as an unofficial farm system/minor league for WMMA. It's in their own best interest to do so since WMMA on it's own isn't that big of a draw, but seeing future UFC talent can add to the appeal of their organization. Dana already mentioned that he was cool with Cyborg having a Zuffa contract but fighting in Invicta until they sorted out the weight issues and has praised Invicta in the past.

So while the roster on paper seems small for now, I expect that we'll see it double or triple in size over the next 12 months or so as Invicta puts on a few more events and establishes a clearer hierarchy at 135.

You can't possibly be serious...

I find Velasquez, Jones, GSP, and Aldo just as dominating while fighting much tougher opponents.

This happens a lot when a main card fight gets cancelled. Often they don't want to disrupt the prelim main event so they dig a little deeper to find a fight. When Mendes v Gamburyan got dropped they made the switch.

It's getting crazy attention no doubt, but if Lesnar could do a million buys and this does 250K then I think it's time for Dana to cool the talk a bit.

To be fair, Dana's probably right by saying that Rousey has attracted more attention from the media given she's a female and is breaking the gender barrier so to speak in the sport. That said, the media isn't what sells PPV and the typical casual fan isn't likely to go out and purchase this PPV simply because Rousey, or women, are involved. I'd be very surprised if this PPV drew more than 300K buys.

I don't see it now, but I swear about 12 hours ago, ESPN's MMA page had a picture of Dana White and Ronda Rousey arm-in-arm like they were dating on the main page. It looked straaaaange.

Carmouche, Machida, Menivar, Neer, Koscheck, Johnson, Grice, Stout, Jardine, Magny, Burrell

Main Card (PPV):
Women's Bantamweight Championship: Ronda Rousey (c) vs Liz Carmouche -1st round Sub
Light Heavyweight Bout: Lyoto Machida vs Dan Henderson - I'm really worried this might be the first time we see Hendo stopped from strikes, but I'm hoping he finds a way to land that bomb. If not I still feel like he could take a decision a la Rampage by looking more aggressive.
Bantamweight Bout: Urijah Faber vs Ivan Menjivar
Welterweight Bout: Court McGee vs Josh Neer
Welterweight Bout: Josh Koscheck vs Robbie Lawler

Preliminary Card:
Heavyweight Bout: Brendan Schaub vs Lavar "The Rock" Johnson - I've never thought much of Schaub, but this is a must win for him, and I have a feeling he takes it to the ground early and often and wears Johnson down.
Lightweight Bout: Michael Chiesa vs Anton Kuivanen
Featherweight Bout: Dennis Bermudez vs Matt Grice
Lightweight Bout: Sam Stout vs Caros Fodor
Welterweight Bout: Kenny Robertson vs Brock Jardine
Welterweight Bout: Jon Marley vs Neil Magny
Welterweight Bout: Nah-Shon Burrell vs Yuri Villefort
