What don't you understand? When Carter was traded the 2012 draft was the upcoming draft. He got a 2013 pick, which was not the upcoming draft at the time.
Want to read what I wrote before you jump amigo?
I wrote for future drafts. I literally wrote: Also, getting some from future years is always a great idea.
*sigh*
I was talking about getting picks for future years.

And I said you won't get top picks, that's all, then you tried cherry picking things out of what I said and were again wrong.
Toronto's getting incredible goaltending from Scrivens and Reimer. And Kadri's leading the team in points while getting 3rd line ice time. Not a chance he gets moved.
I doubt Chicago is looking for anymore offense that isn't a centerman.
The time to get Kadri was in the offseason (I suggested it and got ripped for it) he won't be moved now especially when Scrivens and Riemer are doing as well as they are.
I wouldn't give up anything more than Gio for RoR as we don't have a second this year, and I refuse to trade another 2nd away.
...maybe we add a little, or they add a little. I wouldn't mind having Cogliano coming back, maybe we could add in Stempniak. But I think there is the makings of a deal here.

As for Jay Bo his value will lie in us eating his contract. If he is available for 3.3 million we could quite easily get a similar package as to what is being offered above for Jarome.
Now mind you I would rather deal Giordano(then Bouw) if the value could be 75% of what we would get for Bouwmeester.
Then deal Kipper for a 2nd.
If Iginla yielded Peter Holland and a 1st
Jay Bouw or Gio yielded a 1st
Kipper yields a 2nd
Suddenly
we'd have a Top 3 Pick with our pick(Drouin,MacKinnon territory)
2 firsts that would probably between 23-30.
and Peter Holland.
When you add that haul to the remaining Bouw or Gio + Wideman, Brodie, Wotherspoon etc.,
What do you guys think of
Gio + Stempniak for 2nd + Rask + Mcbain?
maybe you can get them to throw in Lucic while your at it. Rask isn't going anywhere, Boston has no need for either player and a need for what they'd be giving up.

Wow. Did you stop and wonder how Calgary was trading for Rask from Boston and Mcbain from Carolina in the same deal? Did you ever stop to think he was talking about Victor Rask?

Given that Karlsson is down but could be back for the playoffs, it wouldn't be huge surprise if they did make a move for Jbo especially when it won't cost them a roster player.
Zibb is a roster player, and starting to produce. He's going nowhere.

That's a pretty fair deal for both teams to be honest. If the Flames decide to move more players as per a rebuild I can see this, if proposed, really being considered.

As a Ducks fan as well as a fan of Iginla, I love the idea of Iggy in Anaheim. The guy is a stud if I ever saw one. But I doubt the Ducks would trade Holland as we are so thin at the center position.
I'd be down for Palmieri/DSP + 1st 2013 for Iginla. Would that adress any Flames needs?

The Flames could use a good RW prospect too, but a C would obviously be preferable.
But I am of the belief Iginla will return more than a 1st and a prospect. I think there would be either a roster player (since Palmieri is a roster player, maybe a lesser prospect) and a conditional pick based on a Finals appearance or re-signing him.
