Seems like Buffalo is doing a Avs by promoting the AHL coach Ron Rolston.

At this rate flyers are going to get blown out, let's hope they fire Lavio.

Poetic justice on that Malkin goal.

That has to be the weirdest most bizarre goal I ever seen. 6 players were closer to the goal line than Vokoun. He basically stopped playing lmao.

Fantastic game.

Plus that scrum was the funniest goal I have ever seen.

I'd be pissed if the refs didn't call the puck dead if Varlamov had the puck under his pads like Vokoun had there.

Random stat I found interesting: despite leading FLA with 10 pts Tomas Fleischmann is tied for the league worst in +/- (-10) [Streit, Kuba, Doughty]

I think torts should get fired, I like him but he's playing the rangers wrong. He has a great offensive threat but chooses to play like Devils under lemaire. I don't think they can win the cup playing like this.

Lundqvist has to be Rangers best player if they are going anywhere, since their offense is a bit weak. He's been average for being Lundqvist. I like Nash but I'm not sure if Nash + rookies in and Dubinsky, Anisimov and Prust out makes them that much better.

I get a Coyotes/Predators vibe from Rangers, where they have through the way they play the game a ceiling for how good they can be. If they get a perfect run they can win the cup, but it's hard seeing them being the favorite.

Sens are impressive. They skate hard, finish their checks and their play through the neutral zone is fantastic.

Does Del Zotto ever play the LD side? Anyone know?

Because we don't really need to add a RD side player IMO. Johnson, Barrie, ROB, Elliott. If we are moving a good asset we should filling a hole, not just adding.

It's most likely because three of their top four defenders (Staal, McDonagh, del Zotto) are left shots. One of them has to either play on the right side or play on the third pairing.

Anderson just got taken out in the Rangers game after Kreider was tripped up. Had his knee bent back akwardly against the post and couldnt put any weight on it going off.

MVP performance might have just got derailed.

If that ends up being as bad as it looked, see you next season Mr. Anderson.

I wanted to watch him fail badly but never wanted him to seriously get hurt so that sucks for him and the Sens. Hopefully it's not too serious. I'll still be rooting against him when he gets back though.

Eh...I'm over any hate for Anderson. Both sides have moved on, and I think we ended up more secure in net long-term as a result.

Horrid, horrid luck if indeed Andy is done for the year when coupled with the Karlsson injury.

I think there's only one player Avs fans hope for major injury any time he takes the ice.

Yeah. Great shift from him.

He's very raw, but he's a pretty dynamic player.

Sens might have avoided another devastating injury. Their twitter feed says it's a sprained ankle.

Update on #Sens Craig Anderson: Craig has a sprained right ankle and is day-to-day.

No Del Zotto in OT. I guess Torts doesn't think much of him. Unless he is injured.
