Thomas hickey just won the game in ot. First NHL goal. Congrats!
Add hickey to the long list of NHL defensemen with more goals than doughty.

Lol so the key to winning Detroit is never leading them but to be trailing them.

It's officially former Kings night. To add to the stats, Johnson had an assist and had an obligatory -1 with 25:03 of ice time.

You know what Purcell, Moulson, Loktionov (arguably unfairly), and Hickey all have in common? They don't have their names on the Cup.

CBJ Beats DET 3-2.
1 point back of the Wings, 2 games in-hand. I'll take it.
ANd the Stars are losing 4-3 with about 6 min left. If they lose, when the Kings win on Sat, that puts them in a tie for 8th with at least 1 game at hand.

As funny as some of those were to read (and even the piss and vinegar comments about Voracek) I can't blame the Blue Jacket fans for being angry. If you look at it from their side, it would be bitter.

Both the Red Wings and Stars lose in regulation at home -- just what the doctor ordered for the Kings.
Wild and Oilers tied at 1 early into the third period.

Understandable, I get their hate for Carter, but they should probably be smart enough to not call him "useless". I hate Blake with a white hot passion, but he was far from useless in Colorado
