Just something random I've been thinking so someone smarter can give their opinion on it. Would Goligoski be a better winger than defenseman?

Exactly. Goalie won't be pulled, obviously, game's over in 2 minutes and you're on the PK the whole time.

To hell with gritty roleplayers who can't even get a stick on the puck FOR TWO WHOLE MINUTES, we needed our skill guys out there.

Another brilliant coaching strategy from Sir Gully.

GM Joe needs to make a move. Coaching change (least likely), trade (slightly less unlikely), anything to fix this team. For every great win we see, it seems like it's both preceded by and followed by an absolute gong show.

If you do that I'd say the odds are pretty high of the Sedins finding a way to score.

Would had been 3-1 if Loui had just taken a shot in that 2vs0...

Not to mention the invisible Roy and Eriksson along with no Whitney. We effectively have half a top 6.

He's had some PP time the past few games, including this game. He's not been any better than anyone else on the PP. And I don't think he's the best point shot. He's struggled to hit the net this season.

It's strange cause even in a best case scenario where Nystrom and Fiddler have a clear 2 on 0 they're probably as likely to miss the net than score. I mean using 4 defencemen might have been better.

Is there someone named Roy on this team? Could have fooled me.

Eakin has been more impressive. Stick Eakin on the 2nd line and drop Roy down.

I think he has been the Stars' best Dman on the PP. It's not all about the shot, although he does at least get his through. He controls the tempo out there which is something none of the other Dmen can do. He's been quite a bit better on the PP than he has been at ES in fact.

Can't say I blame the guy. Kari's injury is going to cost this team enough points to knock them out of the playoffs. That's half a decade without playoff hockey.
