Wow. Florida scores 3 goals in 2 minutes in Philly. Funny side note: Announcer was saying "Even though Huberdeau left St. John's in December he's still their leading scorer... Hope no one on St. John's is listening to me."
Oh boy, Red Wings HORRIFIC loss at home to Columbus after being up 2-0 early on. Last minute goal by Prospal, ouch.
Hopefully a sign of things to come. Can't wait til they're basement dwellers. And I say that as someone whose favorite team was the Wings while the North Stars were gone. Then I started visiting HF...

Same here, but they are our competition now, and I want that playoff spot so screw em!

To be fair the 3 leading scorers after Hubderdeau are hurt. Second leading scorer only has 5 more games.
Oooh my. The way Malkin hit the boards there looked really brutal. Glad to see him get up quite quickly. That could've been very serious, not only was it a brutal whiplash, the back of his head hit the boards quite hard.
I think NHL should just take the safe approach and require Kevlar socks and pants all together.
Why doesn't Bauer or who ever just make the socks that go over the knee pads out of kevlar? its not like that an equipment choice.
I think when they are talking about kevlar socks, they mean the ones you wear on your feet, not the hockey socks. But I don't get why everyone wouldn't wear them if it is said they feel pretty much the same.
That's really, really scary stuff. Bleeding profusely... One situation I would've never wanted to witness. Either way, good to see that the trainers were able to respond quickly and effectively, and that he is not in mortal peril.
That being said, I don't think NHL should make any knee-jerk reactions from this. It's a dangerous sport and accidents happen, but thankfully, they are rare and not usually this serious. It's a bit like motorsport, which is also becoming safer and safer, but danger is part of the nature of the sport and therefore will always be present.
small sample size, but he doesn't look as good as Brodin. i wouldn't even say "nearly".
You're just a hater on Larrson, and he is 1000% better than Brodin, and Parise sucked, and we never wanted him and he is over-rated, and we are better off without him.
