Haha, thanks!! I had the normal stuff there originally, but I figured this would be too good to pass up.. This makes two Canadian Prime Minister's that have made the NHL, Paul Martin being the other!!

It's 2:15am here now so i'm going to bed... the current pick, Nashville #73 still has about 40min left before we auto it, but since I am going to bed, i'm auto-ing it now.. It's 1:15am where he is, and he hasn't been on since 7:33pm ET.. so I doubt he'll make it before the 40min is up.

Nashville receives Emile Poirier..

is up, but their time doesn't start until 8am ET. He can pick before that though..

I know he made a good pick/the right pick up . Kinda Jealous in fact, that he got him . On a side note, I checked my seven round draft rankings (that I made for kicks the other day) and I had him going right in this area. I'll take my crow well done please

^ former teammate of fellow Coyotes Henrik Samuelsson and Curtis Lazar, until Edmonton traded him to Vancouver for David Musil. Speaking of Lazar, Geertsen was a fellow first round pick of the Oil Kings, along with Lazar, who stayed with Geertsen's family in Edmonton the last two seasons. Fits an organizational need for an imposing, physical D. I like the untapped, raw upside, too. Head scout Rick Knickle dips into the WHL pool yet again, after humoring his boss, former Kitchener Ranger, Don Maloney with the Justin Bailey pick in the 2nd round.

Detroit select Martin Reway from Olympique of Gatineau

Smaller speedy Czech centreman who is an excellent passer and offensive generator. Small, but determined. Strong on the puck and physically strong for his size, enabling him to play as if he were a bigger man. Aggressive - gave Team Canada in the world juniors a tatse of his stick on numerous occasions.

^sure, but still there are good players that haven't been picked yet, so i'm hoping a few will drop to the next round if people forget about them.

I hate you, I was going to choose Murphy over him because I thought Wallmark would still be available next time. Good pick though

Hahahaha, that's really weird.... I was going to take Murphy with the Ottawa pick after my original plan fell through (Lipon).. I woke up at 8am ET (so I could be on time with the draft clock), and you posted the switch at 7:59am ET..
Needless to say, I wasn't exactly thrilled.. so I had to make a choice, and I'll be honest, I'm not even sure who Wallmark is... I just chose him because he's Swedish and Ottawa does well with Swedes!!

we've slowed to a crawl. 14 picks in the last 2 days. we made 63 in the 1st 2 days.

just to remind everyone if you think there's a chance you won't be around for your pick send me (and copy rey and Water) a list of the players you want with your next pick. none of us will steal your picks.

let's kick-start this ****er!
