Taylor Hall on Clutterbuck: "I could have hit him in the head [instead]." See, the Dept. of Player Safety is great success!

Hahaha, oh, that makes it better!

"Sorry officer, I didn't mean to stab your partner. I could have shot him, but I didn't."

Rick Depitro is hitting the waiver wire today at noon. Think the Flyers have any interest????

Owed 4.5 million through 20-21. My god the worst contract ever signed in NHL history.

No one wants to pay more for team health insurance.

WPG defensemen Redmond was having a pretty decent season. Cut his femoral artery on a skate blade in practice out for the rest of the year, apparently over a liter of blood on the ice in a matter of seconds.

Wow. I saw the article, but didn't read the details. The training staff must have been out there like lightning, which isn't as obvious a thing for practice (I am assuming) as for a game.

Typos that make you do a double-take

I was running down TSN's Scott Cullen's goaltending review for all 30 teams, and noticed this gem:

Quote:
Jonas Gustavsson has only played two games, stopping 2 of 26 shots,
Man, I do better in my rec ball-hockey league.

It's kind of unreal how good the Hawks have been to do this run.

Embedded in their success, too, is how Ray Emery has come back from being questionable about ever playing again.

Haha, I was just watching the MTL - NYI highlights from last night and going through the boxscore, and Hamonic had 8 giveaways

Also, has anyone seen Semin's play on Tlusty's first goal against Winnipeg? Great steal, followed by an awesome pass.

Malkin hit his head into the boards after a clean hit by Gudbranson. Had trouble walking to the locker room.
