Over/Under Dougie Hamilton getting more than 20 points this season

In 14 games so far he has 1 goal and 7 assists. 34 or so games left this season what does everyone think the over under is for him getting more than 20 points this year?

I think he'll go on a mini goal binge at some point. Hopefully on the PP.

He reminds me of Dave Ellett in the sense that he knows how to get the shot to the net and pick up assists.

over, especially when our team realizes that they can create havoc in front of the net consistently. The kid has a knack for getting shots through / shooting it intentionally wide to create chances.

ice time has started to come down, so it might end up being closer... we're 28th in the league when it comes to pp time. that's saying something because we frequently use up all 2 minutes. dougie has points on a third of our pp goals this year (i know, insert pp joke here)

Dougie is on his way to be the best homegrown Dman since Bourque. There I said it.

He's hit a little dip in his game recently, hopefully he can pick it back up. Needs to be better in his own end which will obviously come with time.

If he can stick to playing 18-20 minutes per game (more or less), then it is very possible. If he sticks on the PP, then the chances are even higher.

Predicting:
GP: 48
G: 6
A: 22
PTS: 28
+/-: +2
PIM: 12

Extrapolate Dougie's numbers over an 82 game season and he'd be on pace for close to 50 points (6-42-48 to be exact). As a 19 year old defenseman.

Holy hell.

Same here. It's uncanny how he knows the perfect time on when to pinch down. I think it's really only burned him once so far. Otherwise, he does it every game and it results in added offensive zone time.

8 pts in 14 games is a fast start.

the unders are thinking he will get 11 or less points in the remaining 35? ... i think if this pp ever gets going he can get 7-8 off that alone, i think an o/u of 25 would be more interesting

+1 on the over. This kid will have a couple of multiple point games in the killer stretch over March. I'd say 24-26 points.

Hal Gill?

Anyways, over. This team still isn't playing as good as they can. If they can get the powerplay rolling, or keep playing at the level it has been for the past few games, his points are going to pile up big time. He already has 8, at his current pace he would get 23. I think he'll get around 25.

I think I had him maxed out at 15 points in my pre-season predictions, so I am sure he will pass that. I def. think he could hit the 25 pt mark, just a matter of how much ice time he gets going forward. His ice time seems to be trending down, but hopefully as he becomes more solid in his own end, it will start creeping back up.

He'll be in the running. But Jonathan Huberdeau, whom we'll see tomorrow night, is way ahead at this point.

Thank you! Leave it to a B.C. boy to suggest a Red Dear guy

What we are seeing from Hamiliton cannot do anything but make you absolutely ecstatic as a B's fan. The one thing the B's have been missing for a long time. Haven't been this excited about getting an Offensive Dman since we made the move for Gonachar.

If he were to get another 8 points over the next 14 games he would have 16 points and he would still have 20 more games to get 4 points to get 20. He easily can eclipse 20.
