Hall should serve an enormous price.

I say 5 minutes at the start of next game.

That'll show him.

I have zero interest in Frasers comments or interpretation of the rule book. Brutal ref, just as bad at analyzing for TSN.

This is what I despise about twitter. Handles. Who is releasing this info. "Russotrib" hmmm, whodat?

I would say in anycase classy move by the Wild as they could easily have held onto the medical information and keep everybody in the dark until AFTER the suspension came down. Which from what we know from Shanahan is nearly always based on severity of injury rather than actual infraction involved.

This news release is good for Hall.

I'll say 1 game. He deserves it. And it was well worth it.

@mnwildClutterbuck: Thought the hit by Hall was reckless.

lol

For a boy scout like Cal, I know he can relate.

Fraser loses a bit of credibility when he goes on about modern medical techniques helping Clutterbuck rehab his knee.

It apears that this wasn't a knee on knee hit, just a kneeing penalty to CLutterbuck's thigh. You never want to see anyone hurt but lots of Oilers have had minor bruises from unsuspended opponents.

If it was Hall's intent to knee him, then a suspension is worthy. If Hall was trying to hit him and his naturally wide stance caused this clusterbuck, then maybe the major penalty is enough.

He's there Gregor, Principe, Spector or whoever else.

Most people that use twitter know who he is. Spend 2 minutes and you'll find out who he is.

Why would I?

I could care less about twitter. I'm not able to sign up for twitter in anycase.

But It would make it easier that when people quote from Twitter they actually give an indication of what the actual name is of the person or source being quoted is.

Why assume the world knows?

That's up to you. You continue to bash solid beat writers because you want to take a meaningless shot at them. First Portzline and now Russo.

Should I tell you who Jason Gregor is when I use his tweet or Kevin Allen?

And furthermore this site has a filter when people post a twitter angle of some random hack.

Russo covers the Wild. He's like their Mark Specter and he was ranting and raving like a little ***** after the hit last night.

Do you distinguish names from twitter handles?

I don't and cannot have access to twitter, through conditions of my employment. Is it OK for you if I ask source when names are not given.

A twitter handle does not allow me to interpret who the source is.

Just put their twitter name into google if you want to know so badly. 1st hit on googling @Russostrib take you to his twitter page that says this:

Quote:
Michael Russo covers the NHL and Minnesota Wild for the Minneapolis Star Tribune (http://www.startribune.com/wild). Claim to fame? Covered the Florida Panthers.

Minneapolis, MN http://www.startribune.com/russo

Being that I'm not signed up for twitter, and have no access to twitter, when I google the name I get "page not found" or other such obfuscation. It doesn't direct. Possibly due to some security settings as well. Not quite sure.

I completely agree with you but unfortuantely what happened in past incidents has absolutely no bearing on this.

That's like saying Edmonton beat Chicago, Chicago won Stanley cup means Oilers are better than Lord Stanley.

perhaps because of a work related filter when I google twitter handles I don't get properly directed. I get redirected to "page not available" or "page not found" which I've stated twice now.

Its a pet peeve. if I started quoting things from "gobbledejunk" and gave links that ended up being deadlinks for other people I'm sure people would ask about what my source was.

ps "I did restrain from not commenting"
