Well yeah but I really meant Morrow, Despres, or M. Reilly. I just couldn't think of their names early this morning.

Dallas isn't going to be able to get an OEL, Bogosian, Pietrangelo, etc. So they're going to have to identify a young AHL, or CHL defender they think can take the next step. They misjudged on Goligoski but they seem to be a decent judge of Canadian Junior talent so focus on already drafted guys and find one you believe in that can be acquired.

I'd be willing to part with Ritchie or Faska or someone we acquire for a guy like Morrow in the hopes that the scouts really do know what they're doing. Goligoski was a guy Niewendyk locked onto and it appeared we didn't really look elsewhere. This time may have to be a whoever, where ever type deal with hopefully the voices of multiple scouts putting in their opinions.

Just like the draft and the amateur scouts, I imagine he listened to his pro scouts.

Maybe it should be in the hands of guys like Holland and Churla though ... I'd love a big, mean WHL D. It didn't work out with Fistric, but that's the type of D that would be a nice ... a Shea Weber starter kit.

Hilarious to see Burrows whine about those two penalties. Also remember seeing one of the Sedins/or both with two bad dives last night. I believe whoever it was skated right into Dillon's stick, fell to the ground so dramatically you would've thought he got shot...
