Honest question.....

Do you really think that this is Carey Price on twitter? Sure, its his twitter feed, but I think that professional players and celebrities have better things to do with their time than to tweet back and forth with ordinary people.

I am thinking that this reply was from his "assistant" who handles such menial chores as Twitter.

No I think it's him alright. It only takes a few minutes tweeting from the phone. You can do it from anywhere, including from the loo

Hockey players have a lot more free time than you would think

DDIHH pt. VIII

I'm sure he would have rather made the more lurid reply (with more smackdown bite) if he had the chance.

If I were him and I saw that, I might be bored and write the same thing. That or, "Go F yourself, I'm rich biaaaotch!"

I know this is the case for a lot of celebrities but with most hockey players it's actually them. I mean who knows, but these guys have enough free time and most of them only use twitter to do banal things like post pictures of their meals. Price has already gotten in trouble for tweeting hunting pics and the like, I doubt he has a team. doing this for him.

Most athletes and professional wrestlers - from what I've seen - use Twitter themselves. Actors have publicists handle their Twitter and it's obvious. "Come see me downtown at the Plaza Inn at 7:30pm until midnight for autographs." With athletes, they chirp each other back and forth, likely while they're bored on the travel bus.

As for the comment, childish but it still made me laugh. Best route would be to ignore the comment altogether but if I was in that position, I'd get myself into trouble more often than not.

She's more of a brodeur fan. What I don't understand is how all of Montreal can hate me? I have been bombarded with tweets for the last day. Is it really worth it?

Haha, are you really the guy who sent that tweet?

*off topic, probably not a good idea to also share you hfboards account name on the Habs board if you want to be left alone about this.

On topic - I guess that's what happens when you waste our best player's time with your b.s. tweets.

Oh come on hockey players don't have assistants for their tweeties. If Nicky Minaj doesn't need one then the rest of humanity does not.

I have to say, I fully respect the fact that you came into this thread admitting you're the guy who made the tweet. I don't get the city-wide hate you're receiving either. You made a tweet that happens daily on Twitter to pretty much any player out there who either has a bad game or suffered a tough loss. Props to you for being a good sport about it.

Yeh you're completely mistaken man, these guys carry their phones everywhere and they often find themselves with nothing better to do*. Also, there are just too many sports pros on twitter to believe all of them just have their "assistant" tweeting for them.
