He's easily one of the most annoying players in the league. He needs to realize he's a good player and that he doesn't need to run his mouth to build himsel up. Let your play on the field do the talking. If I hear him complain about being a 5th round pick one more time I will lose it. It's unfortunate because I really like the Seahwaks and I would like to root for them but he is making it inceasingly difficult.

NFL Logos with a British flair (by the guy that did the Peyton Manning's face on every team's logo last year)

When two sides meet this am, Eagles will ask CB Nnamdi Asomugha to restructure contract or they will release him. Asomugha guaranteed $4mil.

It's a good move for the Falcons, because Turner was already finished. They're likely going running back early in the draft, I think anyways.

Nnamdi was not a good fit in Philly, the way they ran the defence in Philly was just....yikes

It didn't help that he had idiots all around him. They wanted him to not be what he was good at, and became a deer in headlights.

I'd take him back if I were the Raiders.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-flacco-again/

Quote:
The Ravens must decide by March 4 whether to use the exclusive or non-exclusive version of the franchise tag on Flacco. The non-exclusive tag will entail a tender of roughly $14.6 million for 2013. The exclusive level would push the tender, under current calculations of 2013 quarterback cap numbers, to $20.464 million.

In addition to the cap-dollars gap of nearly $6 million, the exclusive tag would, if Flacco opted to sign the tender and adopt a one-year-at-a-time approach, translate to more than $80 million over the next three seasons.

The current speculation, buzz, rumors (whatever) at the Scouting Combine point to the Ravens using the non-exclusive tag while negotiations on a long-term deal continue. The Ravens then would request, hope, pray (whatever) that Flacco would bring any other offer sheet he gets back to the Ravens before signing it.

This strategy would entail plenty of risk. It’s one thing to ask, hope, pray (whatever) that Flacco would bring back an offer sheet before signing it. It’s quite another for Flacco to do it — especially if any team that plans to pursue Flacco realizes that a full-court press must be employed, aimed at getting Flacco to sign an offer sheet the Ravens can’t or won’t match.

Few other rumors:

- Browns haven't ruled out trading Weeden and/or McCoy.

- Dolphins are eying WR Mike Wallace.

- Bengals unlikely to re-sign Rey Maualuga (Ravens rumored to be interested, which would be a good fit).

Can Manuluga potentially take over and play 4-3 MLB for Urlacher on Bears?

Eagles cut Cullen Jenkins. Which makes Asomugha the remaining dream team acquisition of less than 2 years ago and he's hanging by a thread.

Tom Brady signs a 3 year extension with the Patriots.

Quote:
Amazingly, according to the source, the deal is for an eye-poppingly conservative $27 million, which is less than half his worth by any measure.
He most likely took a pay cut to keep the team competitive. NESN is also reporting that the Patriots may be able to reach an extension with Welker before free agency.

Patriots will be a superbowl contender for a little longer

It must be nice to be able to be the secondary income in the family like Brady and do this for the team. Although, I'm sure he's getting some incentive from the Pats side too.

Great news for the Pats and great job by the Pats building a culture with a leader who is wanting to help the team like this.

They cut Mike Patterson too. Officially going to a 3-4. Both guys would be good, veteran depth for 4-3 d-lines.
