And yes, there are things that science can't explain. Like how Krishna became a mod

Absolutely. It comes down to what mindset you choose really. I love taking on other mindsets and hearing others thoughts on the matter. It's really intellectually stimulating and interesting to think about.

Again, maybe I'm being pessimistic, but how can we be bigger than something that is infinite?
Perhaps its the mind, not body, that is infinite and matches the universe pound for pound in terms of vastness.

If I thought human beings gave meaning to the Universe, I'd kill myself. Look at humanity. Such a war-like and destructive species. Look at how they allocate their resources. A child starves to death in one place while billionaire defense contractors line their pockets as massive institutions with monopolies on force send young men and women off to die in foreign lands. Who would want to live in a place that's defined by such sadistic organisms?

Create and destroy. That's the cycle. Always has been. Always will be. They don't define me.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that I'd kill myself, but I completely agree with you on this one. Despite our intelligence as a species, humans still are a species of biological instinct. We're greedy, selfish and driven by urges of sex and aggression.

I also loved the part in bold.

A pessimistic look but again, like all others, a fair one. Destruction is one of the biggest defining characteristics of humanity.

That said, so is creation. And with creation, that's where you can find the beauty in it. Whether creating art or another person, you can find a lot of happiness and meaning in it.

If humanity is the best the universe has to offer than I will die a sad man. If the best life form there is is as flawed as the human race, then...

There is a beauty in flaw though. It makes the triumphs that much more triumphant. A perfect, clean and Utopian plane of existence would be both terrifying and impossible.

If you're talking about a single human mind, then I can't say I agree. The human mind is limited by time, and by the amount of information it can comprehend.

If you're talking about the accomplishments of the human mind, then I definitely get where you are coming from. However, measuring the discoveries of the human race to the complexity (and longevity) of the universe is virtually impossible. It would be difficult to prove which one is 'more vast'.

And a world based on destruction and creation (aka, rebuilding) is not a good thing. A society should be based on advancement. Not taking two steps forward, and a step back, but taking 3 steps forward.

Well the bolded can be debated depending on ones belief in a soul/afterlife but I don't want this getting religious. Those debates get ugly.

Can you guys relate to this? Ever get so fired up about something, and you're blowing steam about it all day literally. Well it slips your mind for about 6 hours until someone feels the need to bring it up again? Then you just get infuriated having to defend your position again, and you get pissed off all over again?

Absolutely. Most recently with someone reminding me of the Rangers blowing another lead and losing.
