I think Lowry just doesn't want Andrea crying at half time anymore. It's bad vibes for the team. That's all.

Unfortunately we are stuck with Bargnani, for the rest of the year, so if booing him all the time, is going to upset the team, it might be better not to.

I think they should just sit him.

Lowry is a key cog in the future of this franchise. He, DeRozan and Gay are developing serious chemistry in a very short period of time (it will only get better) and giving this city its first exciting basketball in a long time (No more slow pace, Calderon basketball). So this is a ridiculous statement.

As for booing Bargnani. I don't like the guy, but he should be coming off of the bench shredding second units. Not that I want to get wrecked by the heat in 4 games of the first round, but if we wanted to make the playoffs, he would need to be apart of that. He's already as good as gone this off season, so I fail to see why fans need to boo him. It does absolutely nothing beneficial for the team and will make Bargnani's value worse than it already is.

Just looking at the Raps and watching games (not a rabid fan) but it seems the 2nd unit really misses Calderon and his ability to get everyone involved. Don't get me wrong they needed to get Gay as their core piece but you can see how good Calderon was to this team.

I would love to see them get him back as a backup next year on a vet min contract and trade Bargs for a couple of 2nd unit rotation players cause right now the 2nd unit is pretty much horrid and Bargs sinks them.

The starting 5 is good enough to compete but the depth is lacking. They need a good 6th man to come off the bench and sustain leads Bargs fails in that.

It just seems to me that it's very unlikely the team can maintain the pace they'd need to sneak into the eighth spot.
Perhaps not this year, but definitely next season.

Then again, after a 4-19 record to start the season, it's a miracle that the Raps are even in the playoff discussion. After last night's win, we are 4 1/2 games back of Milwaukee with plenty of basketball left to play. It's unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

In any event, I'm stoked about the potential for our young core moving forward.

Fans pay to see the best... Barbs is playing to get traded. You can tell he wants out. Don't agree with Lowry. Boo or Cheer -- fans are fans.

you really think booing bargs is gonna help this team win games??

i 100% do not mind bargs coming off the bench... and dont talk about his contract as it really doesnt matter right now.. im also sure he will be gone on the off season

I agree...it'd be awesome if we got Calderon back on a cheap contract. He was fantastic for Amir Johnson.

I'll be watching Telfair closely to see if he can be a conceivable backup next year, but otherwise Calderon is on the list of free-agent targets.

our fans should be allowed to boo him if we wanted to, he has done nothing for this franchise given all the opportunities to. also this is all BC's fault because he stated he wanted to trade bargs which in turn depreciated his value to a point no one wanted to give any thing of value for him.

really hope BC isn't back else will be stuck in this limbo forever.

Bargs deserved the boo's before the trade deadline. Now that it's passed it's time to stop it. It accomplishes nothing and it's quite apparent that BC and MLSE knows of the Raps fans discontent with this overpaid lazy player who checks out every game he checks in (if that makes any sense).

I will be shocked if he is not moved in the off-season or not amnestied.

Raptors were playing great when he was "injured" make him ride the pine more.

Shouldn't he be playing well though? if he was playing to be traded.

Doesn't mean you have the right to do something that you should do it. That's a pretty stupid logic if you ask me.

try supporting the guy for the last push of the season.

why not bring in an offensive THREAT off the bench, and maybe cheer him for doing so?

if he was comfortable he'd get his shooting back.

Milwaukee lost tonight, as did Philadelphia (to Miami, no surprise). So, as of this moment a playoff appearance is very marginally less strange to contemplate.

Gay is to the left, and I think Lowry is the dog (not bear)

Is it wrong to want them to come close but just miss the playoffs? The experience would be great, but nobody could fault them for missing after their miserable start, and I'd rather give up this year's pick to OKC than next year's...
