Former Blackhawks player Magnuson dies
CHICAGO (AP)

— Former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman and coach Keith Magnuson was killed in an auto accident in suburban Toronto Monday, the team said. He was 56.

Magnuson played for Chicago from 1969-80 and coached the team for 1½ seasons. He was riding with former Toronto Maple Leafs captain Rob Ramage, Blackhawks spokesman Jim DeMaria said.

you'd think the heatley crash would have taught a lesson

dying in a car crash coming back from a funeral, now that's pretty strange

When are people going to learn that they aren't above the influence of alcohol when driving?? People who drink and drive deserve a smack on the head.

Ramage suffered a broken femur, amongst other minor injuries,
I wouldn't call a broken femur minor.

I don't believe so. Former Flames teammate Perry Berezan says that Ramage was never one to drink and drive... it seems that one unfortunate lapse in judgment has meant that a man is dead. My condolences to Magnusson's family.

Linky

Don't get me wrong here but how is this not Ramages fault? He was drinking and driving and killed a man in the process.

Does that excuse him from the fact that he was drunk? Icy roads or not drinking and driving is illegal and it is his fault that the other fellow is dead.
