Simmonds fight woke up the Flyers, that's for sure.

Great job by the Flyers in the 2nd half of that period. Bryz was big when he needed to be for the Flyers to wake up. And holy **** did they wake up.

Seriously, Voracek creates a scoring chance every shift. He's a force right now.

This is how we should always play. If we do, we can get 4th position

Rinaldo is playing way smarter this year, keeping his head making clean checks, that's definately an advantage for the Flyers

Schenn a PPG player over the last 13 games (coincidentally, starting the game I said he would break out and have 2g 1a - but he had 2a 1g).

Why can't the Flyers start games like this? Why do they have to wait until they are down a goal or two??

When we hit people, we play well. This team is a physical as ive seen in years, a lot of that is the Schenns though

Blake Wheeler got his brains rattled. Grossmann can be scary when he plays with that terminator mentality.

I'm loving the new Rinaldo. Hartnell sparked this team. Team seems more engaged in the game. I always felt like he is a bigger leader in the room than people give him credit for. He's the big brother in the room that gets every body hyped to play. Gus is also impressing me. When Mez comes back Gervais should sit and not because he's played bad but Gus is noticeably better. He has way better puck moving skills than i anticipated and he also has a good shot but most importantly a quick release that is accurate and will get to the net.

I'm due for a Pitbull commercial. Would the commercial have been ironic if it was played during the Richards / Carter era? Don't stop the party.

The shots were 11-1 Jets at one point. Period finished 17-12 in favour of the Flyers.

Briere was interviewed on radio and asked about the slow start:

"We'll take a look at it tomorrow. Right now, we have to (focus) on the second period....I don't know how to explain our start. It is frustrating.... The fight (helped wake up the team)."

------------------

Currently, the team doesn't have a practice scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday). Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are the days the team is scheduled to practice.

So freaking frustrating!! It's been a problem for years. Anyways, just glad they showed up now and hope it continues for the rest of the game.
