Who is our biggest rival?

Always wondered. As of recently, might get a bit more sens favor due to the game tonight

I'm gonna go with the Sens.

This next match up against the Habs could change everything. Both of us have turned our teams around after last year and had a brutal match up recently.

Habs with Bruins and Ottawa being a close 2nd and 3rd depending on the situation.

I don't. The only ones who feel that way are the same ones that thought the Sens were bigger rivals for the Leafs pre lockout lockout

Probably stems from citizens of Vancouver hating Toronto - disregarding hockey teams.

Picked the Habs because I always make sure to tune in to a game with them, lots of fun, intensity and whatnot.

I don't know if it would qualify them as "rivals". But I really ******* hate the Canucks. For some reason (Mike Gillis, Alain Vigneault, Alexandre Burrows ) I take more pleasure from watching them lose (Series vs. LA last year was amazing. No joke.) than any other team. However, I don't think there's any "rivalry". It's just me hating the team. Only legit options are the divisional foes. Boston would be a good one...if we ever won a game vs. them. Too bad the Kabby deal turned out to be such an insignificant move for everyone involved.

I might be one of the very few, but I remember the Detroit rivalry very well. With new realignment coming as soon as next season (?), they'll hopefully move Detroit to the East.

For me:

Habs
Wings
Sens
Sabres
Bruins

Recently? Bruins due to the whole trade fiasco/scenario.

We missed the playoffs too often in the past decade to present a current, sparkling rivalry.

It used to be Habs, but the last few years it's more the Sens IMO.

Wings not so much any more since we moved to the eastern conference. The outdoor classic game, canceled due to the lockout, might have renewed the rivalry a tad, however.

has to be habs because both of us are from the original 6. can't say bruins because they just bash us every time we play.

i dream of the day we play MTL in the playoffs and destroy them like the 6-0 game a few weeks back.
