Response to ubiq's :O, Brock never got warned until at least 3-4 missed lineups last year.

And then repeated offense before an official warning then subsequent consequence for yet another offense.

There hasn't even been a warning for Brock this year.

This to me is you implying that you cant be bothered to remember because you are so busy. Like you have you so much going on that extreme measures would need to be taken for you to get it done, and yeah, if you cant find 5 minutes that also implies you are way too busy. So yeah, I have been reading your posts and they come across as a guy who isnt willing to find 5 minutes A WEEK out of his incredibly busy schedule to show some commitment.

Nice try though, Brock.

Saying I have trouble remembering to do something isn't synonymous with saying I'm too busy to do that thing.

Took it to PMs, I don't think this is constructive anymore.

Seems like he's saying that he's an extremely forgetful person. I don't really understand it but I'm willing to believe it.

Is it possible for you to create an alarm on your phone that goes off every couple of days reminding you to check if you set line-ups? Maybe set it for a time when you know you'll be free? And get the Yahoo app for fantasy hockey?

I'll try the alarm clock thing...can't hurt to have one more reminder and at least that's something I have to physically turn off so there's no just, being oblivious about it. Maybe I'm still not perfect, but if it cuts down the incident rate it helps, right? As an aside, it seems the default alarm app on the Galaxy S3 only allows for one alarm time...anyone know a good alarm app I can download?

Edit: Set a calendar event up with 3 reminders (45min before, 15min before, and 5min before) but would still rather have an alarm so I can hit the snooze button indefinitely till it's done.

Thanks, figured it out. I was only accessing alarms from the alarm widget, which is tied to one specific alarm. Didn't realize I could get there through the clock app and then create more than one alarm.

No snoozing allowed! Then you'll get things done.

The snoozing is because I am setting it for 5pm when I am typically done with meetings at work but still here.

Hopefully we can put this to bed now. We don't need to lose any members of this league, especially over something that seems to be easily correctable to whatever extent.

Brock, for the record, I don't question your commitment to the league because you've done a lot outside of the day to day team management (the CBA for example)...I question how hard it really is to set your lineups so that while you may forget a few times a season, it never happens twice in a week. I think that's where it starts to become an issue.

Happy to see you're not going to bow out.

Brock: Read is injured so you should probably change your lineup. (Tarasenko might be too, he's listed as DTD.)

just noticed, beside the top Submit Changes button on the lineup page there is a lineup tools button, under which you can select "START ACTIVE PLAYERS" and it automatically dresses the players who are playing that night.

Use that Brock, then you only have to make minor tweaks on days you have to pick who to bench

Anyone want to flip me a defenseman for Jagr? Looking to make a depth move here. I'm looking for a consistent vet d-man that's a regular on the powerplay for their respective team. Hit me up if interested.

Now that Landeskog is back from injured reserve, I have an abundance of LWers on my team.

Looking to trade one of them:
Ladd 16 GP, 9G, 7A, 16 Pts
Tanguay 15 GP, 4G, 8A, 12 Pts

Looking for a RWer or defenseman

Malkin and Nash out with a concussion. Franzen has a bad hip. Clowe might get suspended for up to 10 games for his antics last night against the Hawks. So much for my good start to the season...

Wish all that would've happened a few days earlier.

So I feel like I might be able to deal a RW:

St. Louis (22 points)
Simmonds (13 in 16)
Pominville (15 in 18)

Along with Lupul who can play RW and Hemsky who isn't bad.

Would consider dealing Pominville. PM me and make me an offer if you're interested. Will also deal Hemsky who would come cheaper than Pominville.

Facking Shark fans... went to their GDT this morning to double check who's starting. They all say Greiss as Niemi played yesterday in the first of a back to back. Log on to see Niemi is two periods through a shutout tonight.

Also, may the age of Lehner begin!
