Toffoli also leads the Monarchs in +- with a +17!

Vey now tied for the league lead in assists with 32 thus far.

Monarchs win 7-2 over the Sharks! This may have been their best game of the year. They never took the foot off the pedal! Even in the last minute they were pushing for more.

Toffoli 1st goal was credited to Pearson. So, Toffoli at 25 goals on the year.

Goals were: Kozun (2), Pearson (2), Toffoli, Weal, & Vey

Kozun's stats look pretty damn good to me. Especially when he doesn't get first unit power play time. Pretty impressive.

Kozun has an NHL ready game, The Kid is a bull down low.

My only concern is his play style and small frame, are going to lead to some injuries in his career.

Weal has 14 points in his last 18 games.

Can anyone comment on how his game is progressing?

With the way he's playing, it would be an outrage if Toffoli (and Vey, quite frankly) wasn't on the roster to begin next season. He's more than ready.

And man, how hot is Jordan Weal right now? It's like someone just flipped his switch mid-season, and ever since, he's been on fire.

Pearson is the real deal. Kid looks great. Lots of battles in Camp next year.

Pearson/Vey/Toffoli Kozun/Weal

With Penner/Gagne's contract running out and the cap going down the Kings likely will need ELC's to fill those holes.

Think Richardson's contract is up to.

Correct. I could see Toffoli and Pearson replacing Penner and Gagne on the roster next season and one of Kozun or Vey replacing Richardson.

Maybe we see something like this?

Brown - Kopitar - Williams

Pearson - Richards - Carter

Lewis - Vey - Toffoli

Clifford - Stoll - Nolan

King/Fraser

Monarchs win!! 3-2 over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers!

Solid effort tonight. The power play looked fantastic! Solid game from Jones tonight. Defense was a bit shaky in the first half of the game but Jones backed them up. And although he did have any goals tonight Kozun continued his solid play.

Goals tonight from Yellow Horn, Toffoli, and Weal

Yellow Horn continues to impress with 8 points in his first 7 games (2 goals & 6 assists). I think the Kings should offer him a 2-way contract. Yeah sure he's really small but the guy has skills! It ain't easy coming out playing like this right off the bat in the AHL.

I don't think it would be a good idea. While the young players are tearing it up in the AHL, they are getting top line minutes.

Bringing all three up at the same time would not only give them less of a chance to be productive in the NHL, but it would also kill the farm team in terms of production.

One or two at most should be called up. With Pearson being the least experoenced, I think he would be the odd man out.

Vey's the most experienced and versatile, so I would call him up, and have Weal supplant him as the #1 Center in Manchester.

There's no way we see Vey, Pearson AND Toffoli in the lineup next year. It'll probably depend on what position we need to fill. If it's a wing, then I think Toffoli is next up and will probably take Penner's place next year

I don't think skill players like Toffoli/Vey have to receive top-six minutes to develop in the NHL. If they get 10-12 minutes a night to start off on the third line, I think they'll be fine. Pearson is the least experienced of them all, but the Kings don't have much depth at LW. He, I think, would fit in well alongside Richards and Carter.

As for Manchester, even though they would be depleted up front with these guys in LA, I think it's important to keep in mind that the sole reason for the team's existence is to support the Kings.
