Habs were solid after the 1st. Eller - Gally - Cole line was awesome. Eller and Gally have a lot of chemistry. Hoping Patches doesn't get suspended for the hit on McDonagh. We'll see I guess.

The Rangers don't even have a 1st round draft pick this year

Price with a shutout... no star.

And actually I think Cole, Eller, Gally were ther right choices anyway.

I don't see the MaxPac hit as more than a boarding call. It was nothing different than Lucic's hit on Nash.

Great win. Laffs lose too.

Anyone else see Randy Cunnyworth being a good fit for the Rangers when Torts gets canned?

What hapenned with Eller getting mocked by Patches on the bench? Something about staying too long on the ice like last year against winnipeg or something. Someone explain what hapenned

That guy is not an NHL coach. 7 defensemen all the time.

That being said it's not a big deal
I would have given Cole 1st just for breaking out. Then Eller and Numchuk.

Eller's 1st star after his 4 goal game. He stayed on the ice forever. They probably thought he was getting 1st star and were ribbing him about what could happen.

CBJ fans holding the Rangers 1st pick would approve of RC behind the NYR bench. Heh.

Seriously. We did a lot of damage tonight. I seriously would award "play of the match" to Patch; his boarding literally changed the flow of the game
Again with that old school Don-Cherry-esque nonsense... A hit like that (which was illegal and resulted in a penalty) does not change the flow of the game, if not against the Habs due to the penalty.

This kind of argument, along with "having an enforcer gives confidence to our players and makes the team better" is total ********.

Habs won because they played better, which was just as much the result of Pacioretty's hit as me scratching my balls.

If the usual magic number is 94 point in an 82 point season, then it would be 55 points this season.
That's 29 points to go. 14-14-1 is the worst we can do.

PhysicX, we will wait until tomorrow to make sure Cole isn't awarded Eller's goal for whatever reason. Very unlikely, I know, but let's be sure..

I'll assume the new avatar tomorrow, and keep it until after the Bruins game.

Just enjoy the ride.

Also, the East seems to be completely falling apart. Pittsburgh loses Malkin, Rangers, Caps and Flyers aren't playing wel, Ottawa is basically shattered glass. Just a wacky season.

It was great to see him finally get a chance.

Price only had 17 saves and only a few tough ones.

Pretty sure it was about his missed pass on the 5 on 3 (on 2 since Girardi was down)
