Not too concerned about the top line. That's where secondary scoring helps. Chances are one line or a handful of players will always become cold. It's rare to have a roster where every line is fired up. That's when others step up. Just like how the top line was helping out so much early in the season. While we could break up the first line, do we really want to mess with the other lines now that they're starting to click?

It'll all balance itself out. Guys are starting to show some signs of confidence. The rookies are starting to be heard. JMO, but give the top line a little more patience as long as the others are helping out.

Flame announcers with some good words about Heatley. Awww, isn't that nice.

Whether people here like him or not, what they said about him is mostly true. He still manages to get in the right spots and create chances, even with his legs gone.

bad pass, Parise ruins a good offensive opportunity.

Really thought there would be a chance to see Brodin on the PP tonight, disappointed he isn't out there... like always.

We may be outshooting them but I gotta say the Flames have gotten a lot better scoring chances so far.

On the other hand, the PP needs an extreme makeover.

Yeo failed as Pittsburgh's PP guy when he was there. No reason to think he will be any better with lesser players here.

I don't know, I'm not the coach or anything. But how difficult task it is to make PP even LOOK decent?

seems like the Wild can't get the whole game going at any point...two lines can't be buzzing on the same night. PP or ES...one or the other is good.

Heatley has had a couple good defensive plays now.
