I don't want to harp on it .... but I think they really, really need to try and turn Wandell into a D now.

Been a good game, love the insurance goal, love how much jump we've had. We didn't have a single down period, and Nilstorp has been solid as hell.

Jamie alpha male'd it up tonight.
Now we wait for the carnage report.
Nilstorp very solid. Earned more starts unless Kari is ready.

Jesus, that looked awful for Larsen. Wasn't moving his shoulder, and he doesn't wear a mouthguard and I thought I saw him picking something out of his mouth. He went headfirst into the boards, really really hope he's just a bit shocked and not seriously hurt.
Same with Rome. We really need one of them to be okay.
Who do we even have left? Robidas, Oleksiak, Jo. Benn, Dillon, and Oleksiak? Daley, Rome, and now Larsen all hurt... Who the hell do we call up with Nemeth hurt?

We trade Wandell for a depth D-man from a team with a ton of them. Like Detroit or Colorado.

^ I imagine Daley will be back by Monday.
Probably the most complete game they've played all season. Yea it was against a struggling team on the 2nd night a B2B... but it was a great game. They could have folded with all the penalties but they stuck through a bad 5 on 3 and still managed to score 2 PP goals instead of getting deflated. They kept their cool on the PK and won the special teams battle, then kept their foot on the thoat and finished it off.
Great response to some slumping games. Lets hope they can keep it up and find some consistency.

That's the plan ... but why the hell would they risk it? It's a neck injury. If he has a setback, they are screwed and playing 5 D ... or they're calling up borderline AHLers in Coyle, Sneep, or Labrie.
