Because 100 years as goody 2 shoes is too long: 2013! The year the Montreal Canadiens TURNED HEEL! More shocking than that time when South Africans had to stop telling their kids to "Be Like Oscar!"

If that had have been McDonagh on Pacioretty in the exact same play all we would have heard was "Typical Habs fans.."

No I wouldn't.

I stand by what I said. Protect yourself when you see someone coming. Watch the games, you will notice a defenseman retrieving the puck near the board 20-25 times a game but he will not just turn his back and wait to be hit, he will protect himself from the hit first because the forechecker WILL hit him. That's what they call finishing your hit. What do you expect Max to do in such situation? Put on the break and wait til McD is done with his play?

Man, even if the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, the thread on the Rags board is full of impotent anger at patches for leaping at the back of Mcd's head. Never mind that their player made eye contact with Max, and CHOSE to turn his back to the hit he knew was coming.

Oh well. Can't argue with someone who chooses to be completely irrational.

Can we just focus on the win, who cares what another fan base is saying.

Big team win, coming from a disappointing loss vs NYI. I think the loss was pretty key. You have to work for 60 minutes. They did it tonight. Big game for Eller.

On another note, Doc Guimond getting alot of credit from Eller. Pretty awesome.

The Good
AGally-Eller-Cole line.

The Bad
The feeling Girardi's ankle will have when he wakes up tomorrow. Hope he's okay.

The ugly

I wouldn't recommend trying to have a discussion on that board right now. Let's just say ignorance is bliss.

Also, I laughed especially hard considering who dressed up as Youppi tonight, and he's hugging Ms. Galchenyuk.

Guy named Eddy. He's an independent wrestler with a gimmick that is not suited for these boards.

Best thing about this...we don't have a player in the top 50 in points and we are in first. Shows we have some depth on our lines!!!

Love it. Keep it up PK!
Best D-man on the team. He's just so efficient. And he has a knack for taking his game to another level in the playoffs (err, am I allowed to use that word yet?)
