Magnus Hellberg to Toronto

What would the leafs have to give up to get Hellburg in toronto? He would instantly become toronto's top goaltending prospect and he would have an opportunity to earn a starter position in the near future. I think Nashville is very comfortable leaning on Peks for the forseable future.

No.

Nashville has no need to trade Hellberg, even with Rinne signed long term. Especially not for an average d prospect.

You can have him as part of the Kessel deal

I admit I dont know a lot about him, but is he really that much of a better prospect then Mark Owuya or Garret Sparks?

All of our goalies right now are well below 30 (Reimer is 24, and Scrivens is 26) and performing very good. Why do we need a prospect goalie again?

Could we simply not draft a Swedish goalie in the 2013 draft if we wanted one?

Right now Nashville has

Jeremy Smith
Magnus Hellberg
Chet Pickard in Europe

I, and this is my opinion, think Nashville would make a deal for Smith and bring in Pickard. Pickard is chewing up Sweden so I could see it. Hellberg, maybe not. In order

Pickard
Smith
Hellberg

But note, TML fan you just made a thread for Nashville's #4!?!?! goalie.

Our young goaltending prospects are playing well in the NHL. If we were going to add an asset it would be a reasonably priced veteran, not another prospect.
