With Tom Gilbert on D giving up breakaways, methinks you may be a happy camper by the end of the night.

That breakaway was more the fault of Suter than Gilbert.

I can't cheer for Calgary, even against Minny.

Hudler didn't look good there on the bench.

Maybe it just dawned on him that he signed with a brutal team for 4 years, and he felt like puking.

Rupp should fight Aliu.

That would be much better than watching Heatley and Parise float around out there.

Parise CAN skate.

I'm not sure about Heatley anymore.

What happened to Dany Heatley?

Did he get a hip replacement or something?

He looks terrible, even against a bottomfeeder like the Flames.

Akim frikkin' Aliu is a more effective player.

So glad that Heatley kaiboshed the trade here.

I have no idea. He has the hands to be a perennial 30-goal scorer by himself, but there was a huge dropoff after his first season with San Jose.

As for the trade, I still wish we had gotten him.

That playoffs for San Jose people were 100% convinced that Heatley must be hurt because he was so slow and ineffective.

Turns out he's just slow and ineffective.

I notice that Calgary gets Phoenix tomorrow.

2nd game of another back to back visiting team. WTF?

How long will this go on?

The Sharks and the Oilers have what each other need. I am surprised they havent traded with each other yet.

Jamie Benn beast. Stands his ground when Douglas Murray (who is a ****ing rock of a man) tries to hit him. Then scores.

What do the Oilers have that the Sharks need?

The West is just a picture of collective mediocrity right now. There are like 4 good teams; the rest are all bubble right now.

Yeah, looks like bullet avoided in this case.

Just a shadow of a player right now.

Not contributing much at all.

Rumor has it that the Calgary Flames actually play some games on the road. Although you'd hardly know it.

Seems like every game has been at home. Just checked 11home games, 6 on the road.

Even more road games coming up in the remainder of season than the Oilers have. Going to be real hard for the Flames to try to ever move up in standings.

Seems like every Calgary home game involves a team that played the Oilers the day before.

Tencer tweeted this year Flames have played the team we played the night before 6 times compared to us doing it once.

Half the time its the back up goalie against them to.

Who to cheer for tonight. If flames win they tie our point total and well have to hear about it for 2 weeks. If Yotes win they seperate themselves further, only 2 pts ahead now.

Worst outcome is a 3-2 Flames OT win with Bartschi getting the hatty
