And he would have been doing the same last year. And Kuznetsov would have been doing it this year.

These guys don't just magically become good by entering the NHL. They were developed and made good in the KHL.

If Erixon was stil a Ranger, he'd be ranked in the top 30....

He's not better than Kuznetsov. No freaking way.

Kuzy was the #1 prospect by THN last year. What the heck changed that now he's #3? He's developing beautifully.

Silly.
What was silly was originally moving Tarasenko 5th to 6th (and Kuznetsov to #1) last year, when Tarasenko was busy dominating the KHL and Kuznetsov wasn't. That was silly.

Seems pretty solid top 10 list to me though... really hope to see Kuznetsov in North America sometime.
Meh, I'd have put him ahead of Kuznetsov (they had similar ppg in the KHL and Yak is 2 years younger) and Hamilton, but at least they didn't rank Morgan Reilly or Ryan Murray in front of him or something. Tarasenko and Schultz have straight up had more impressive seasons than him so far.

I can't argue with lots of their top50:

How can Scott Laughton be included at 35 or Olli Maatta at 40, while the likes of Murray and some others are totally missing??

I've added a link to purchase the magazine through THN's website in the original post.

Wouldn't include Connauton/Sauve/Friesen
Also I wouldn't have Gaunce over Schroeder, there's no guarantee Gaunce will make the NHL

1) Jensen
2) Kassian
3) Lack
4) Schroeder
5) Corrado
6) Gaunce
7) Andersson
8) Cannata
9) Mallet
10) McNally/ Tommerness

Top 9 have a good chance to see time in the NHL at some point of their careers. After that there a bunch of guys we will have to see play in the AHL before we know exactly how far along they are ( McNally, Tommerness, Price, Hutton, Labate the list goes on)

Top 10 prospects:

1. Vladimir Tarasenko
2. Justin Schultz
3. Evgeni Kuznetsov
4. Dougie Hamilton
5. Nail Yakupov
6. Alex Galchenyuk
7. Mikael Granlund
8. Johnathan Huberdeau
9. Ryan Murray
10. Jacob Trouba

Just a reminder, we have to be careful with the posting of information, as it is copyrighted. So, please don't ask for so and so's top 10, or the top 50 prospects etc.. If you're interested, I'd recommend picking up a copy, or buying it digitally..it's only a few bucks.

But him and Descheneau have been together almost all year, plus some of last year. It's not like there is sudden chemistry, it's been a long time coming.

I'd put Schroeder above Gaunce too, but I know last year they out Schroeder fairly low 5 or 6th I think and they put Gaunce around 13th I think in there predraft rankings so I was assuming they would put Gaunce ahead in the future watch

If I had to guess for Detroit...

1. Brendan Smith
2. Gustav Nyquist
3. Tomas Tatar
4. Xavier Ouellet
5. Calle Jarnkrok
6. Petr Mrazek
7. Ryan Sproul
8. Tomas Jurco
9. Teemu Pulkkinen
10. Alexei Marchenko

Guys in bold may be considered graduated, and there was some weight out into NHL-Readiness.

Why?
Koekkoek is playing bad this year in the OHL (-24 in 42 games) and he should not have been taken anywhere near the Top 10, while Laughton i really great in the OHL and already played 5 NHL games

It's about future projection, not about current stats.
