Poor Expo Ernie. I hope he got all his booster shots.

I'm sensing a 3-2 loss.

The Wings had a big win today against the Preds, shutting them out 3-0. If we have a decent start I like our chances. But if we lay an egg in the first period again I think we could find ourselves down a couple early.

Just stared at our lineup for a solid five minutes, loving every line, pairing (minus Alberts), and starter/backup. Can't wait until Booth and Kesler get on their 'A' games.

Has it been said that Booth is on the second?
Edit: and Kassian?

Looking for a better start from the Canucks.

Oh, and where did Expo Ernie hide the McBarge?

Nothing confirmed yet. What I've got listed is just a placeholder.

A far cry from the Wings teams we feared as recently as last year.

Not quite Blair Witch, but walking around that old barge in bare feet is definitely creepy!

Coming off a shutout performance in Nashville, and AV always plays the goalie that records a shutout in the next game. So yes, he will start.

Although the floating design allowed for the barge to operate in a new location following the exhibition, the derelict McBarge has since 1991 been anchored empty in Burrard Inlet, amid industrial barges and an oil refinery.

Injuries and lack of Lidstrom will do that. I may be overrating them due to hearing about them all the time from friends, but the Wings still have the ability to score in bunches. Their forward group is actually improved from last year with the addition of Brunner. It's the defense, specifically Kronwall that has fallen well short.

They will bring their best against the Canucks. I think this will be Luongo's first regulation loss of the season. 4-2 DET.
