Mike Johnson video highlights

http://www.nhl.com/players/8466109.html

I like the looks of this guy. Four of the goals were tip-ins, and several others came because he drives the net. He also has a very good shot and good wheels. Nice deal.

Johnson for a 4th rounder is an absolute steal. Good move by Gainey. This guy is very capable of playing on our 2nd line if we run into injuries.

When he was with Toronto, I used to see him play often (was living in the Toronto area), and he was a fairly good offensive player. He was an undrafted player and there was a "bidding war", like for Danis, and highly coveted.

He can fill-in quite nicely on the second line. Not physical, but has good speed.

While people are enjoying the Videos, how possible is it that Johnson be our #2 center? Can this be done and would it be beneficial?

No. He's a right-winger. And Montreal's stated he will play wing.

Not beneficial because if Johnson's moved to center then Montreal has too many centers and not enough wingers.

I like his sense of timing around the net. On some of those goals, if he makes his move too early he either would miss out on the play or he would give the opposition time to cover him. That redirect where he steps out from behind the net for example. And he showed he has a good shot too. Close in, from the boards or at narrow angles. I look forward to seeing what he can do next year, but as mentioned, looks like a very good pickup for a 4th rounder.

The guy as a great shot. Most of the times he gets the puck in the corner

I am proud that this guy will wear a Habs jersey

I was really excited to see Johnson coming over. He's going to fit into our speed team perfectly.

BTW I love going back and watching all the players highlights. Man I can't wait for October.

I don't like him a lot too, but you forgot Ribeiro... He still with the team and at 1.9 million, you can't just sit him on the bench..

By the way sYn, what is your avatar?? It looks like a pair of lungs with a flower and some gonads.. It's somewhat creative, but I have yet to figure it out...
