New hockey fan? Or just trolling?

Go watch the incident in question.

Chara hit on Pacioretty = No suspension
Schenn hit on Gallagher = No suspension

Pacioretty hit on Mcdonagh = No suspension

If Pacio gets suspended, this league is rigged as it gets. The inconstancy of this league is becoming a joke all over and they never do **** to correct it. this is beyond pathetic if he get suspended.

Revenge?

Hearing all this talk about Max Pac being out for retaliation and revenge on his hit make me think there just might be a chance for him NOT to get suspended.

I mean if Zdeno Chara (A Norris Winner, All Star Dman) could get off scot free from his ramming of Patches head into the stanchion because, well because he didn't really know where he was on the ice or who we has on the ice against...

You know, I mean that makes sense right? Chara wasn't out to get Patches back for having shoved him following a goal and even if he would, how could an elite NHL Dman be expected to know where he is on the ice or what members of the opposing team are on the ice with him!

Hooray! there is hope that Patches won't get suspended....

Not.

Just the fact that he got a hearing infuriates me.

I can only imagine the posts that got removed from that thread. There was even one Habs fan (who will remain nameless) who called half the Habs fanbase a bunch of idiots.. Even our own hates us now..

If Max gets suspended you deal with it and move on as a team.

Why not? It worked for Chara.

I don't know what Mcdo was thinking, he went the wrong way... You see him look back and instead of taking the puck on his forehand and skate around the net, he goes back hand into a vulnerable position and gets hammered by Maxs. You can also see that max makes contact before he leaves the ice.

How is that boarding? He plays the puck on the boards and tries to go between max and the boards. Oh wait Max plays for the habs so he shouldn't play physical... Mcdo played real stupid on the play.

That's the part that burns me. As if the rest of the site doesn't hate us enough as it is. Give them a reason to think it's legitimate, why don't you? Those posters should be banned from our board for the damage they do to the civility of the site (or what's left of it).

Only the completely biased would use that as evidence. That's at the height of contact, not the initial point of it.

It's not a new picture. This was adressed earlier in this thread.

Also, Labbé is beyond horrible. On my drive to work he often appears on a radio show I listen to, and the things he says are so basic, he really knows nothing about anything. Completely clueless. This latest tweet is more proof of this.

Pause at 31 seconds in. Both feet are off the ice.

Pause at 15/16 seconds in

Pause at 7 seconds.

Never suspended once. Granted, the first one was international. If I wanted to, I could find a whole bunch of hits where players leave their feet after initial contact.

I didn't think it warranted a suspension. Maybe a penalty, maybe a fine but not suspension worthy. Hope McD is okay.

I think this has happened since the Pacioretty-Chara incident. So much hell was raised by fans and the Hab's staff on how Max got shafted for Chara committing such a dirty act with no suspension. Now the NHL is showing prejudice against Montreal for it. Schenn should of been suspended on the hit of BGally, hit him in the numbers from behind and Gally suffered a concussion. Now it seems every time a cheap shot is committed on a Hab player it never leads to suspension but the opposite is happening for Montreal. Any borderline hit and the Hab gets suspended.

Remember Malone head hunting and got Campoli last year with no suspension? Shannahan is the same worthless puppet as the rest of the NHL brass showing favoritism for certain teams while punishing others.

Look at their ridiculoius schedule they had so far. 14 games played only...Enough time to get HIS team back in total shape from the lockout.

It was a weird looking hit. I could see it going either way. McDo is good d-man, and he was injured on the play. Not that it really makes a difference on the maliciousness of the hit, but something like that might put a little more pressure on the league to do something.

I mentioned this earlier. WTF do they have so much time off when the rest of the NHL is playing back to back to back. Such a bunch of ****.

I was kind of expecting this.
I'm also kind of expecting a 2 game suspension.
