Watching Jaws on OnDemand. Hard to believe this movie is almost 40 years old already.

Sucks you got injured. What is your mountain of choice? I'm partial to Bretton Woods. Easy terrain and tree skiing that's manageable and still fun.

Mmmm breakfast

I make seriously good pancakes. I've gotten rave reviews every time

Granted they come from kids and girls/friends that have stayed over, but they are pretty good

cannon, because i've been skiing there for longer than i could walk and because i like to be able to ski very, very, very fast (and in control)

i am particularly bummed because i was lucky enough to get my first new (well, last model year, but they were unused... thank you wenham sports stop for a half price pair) pair of skis in twelve years and i now find myself staring at them wistfully

oh well

Yeah you must be leaps and bounds better than me then. I've never actually stopped at Cannon, although I have driven by countless times. My father always loved Cannon, but would never take me when I was younger. I hear it tends to be icy, correct? The type of mountain you really need to follow the sun around to soften the snow. Some day I'll try it.

After a morning of heavy rain, we're now getting really fat and wet snow. I can't imagine it sticks or amounts to much of anything unless it's not stopping until tomorrow.

I hope they come by with ice melt later because I really don't feel like dealing with black ice again.

I love how the weather channel app makes snow seem so idyllic and beautiful.

It's a big, slushy mess right now....can't wait until it all freezes. There were plows out on route 2 about 30 mins ago, so hopefully they're getting a good head start should this wet crap stick around.
