The OHL is really strict with its suspensions when it comes to boardings and head shots. They hand out 10 game suspensions like they're nothing.

Probably for the best. Need to teach them at a young age before they get to the inconsistent Wheel O' Punishment that is Brendan Shanahan.

Yeah they don't play around up there. They threw out a few 20+ game suspensions last year.

If Noebels can play wing he'll be up quickly. Otherwise, im not so sure. This club has too many Centerman already. With Cousins and Laughton Centres too, its like, where do you play all of them?

I think Cousins and Noebels will both be wingers at the next level.

Stolarz picked up another win. Stopped 22 out of 24 shots.

As for Stolarz, he was sharp last night. Don't let the score fool you or the shots on goal fool you. He was hot last night and he pretty much won that game for London. He continues to impress and he's definitely a gamer out there. Loving the Stolarz pick more and more and more.
I'm just tired of players arriving at the Flyers with targets for their minor-league play. We saw it with Downie, we're seeing it with Rinaldo, and we'll see it with Cousins. Cousins could be the worst of the lot, given the very serious charges he is facing. Frankly, if he's guilty, I don't want to see him or hear about him again. If he's innocent, though, the stain of the allegation will be another point along with the on-ice extracurriculars.

This logo attracts sufficient referee attention without players coming in with an excess of baggage before hitting the ice for the first time.

Cousins is suspended indefinitely which is stupid since the hit didn't cause injury. And yes i agree hitting from behind is not good but they should consider that the player being hit also at fault cause they turn their back to the player knowing they are going to be hit.

I thought Cousins only received one game for the hit. There's 0 consistency to how the OHL dishes out suspensions. This was a case in which Cousins was finishing his check and the London player turned his back towards Cousins at the last second. If the player had his back turned to Cousins the entire time, then I have no problem with it. However, I was at the game and the player turned his back at the last second. There was no way Cousins could have let up. Seriously, players need to be held accountable if they put themselves in a vulnerable position to get hurt. These last minute turns are something the OHL needs to address as well.

Johnston down to Trenton, Testwuide supposedly close to returning.

Johnston's someone I'd like to see more from. He's got NHL style creativity, but not even ECHL level finish. Hope he continues to grow a bit.
