How come Luke Schenn didn't get a hearing on the Gallagher hit?

There is absolutely ZERO CONSISTENCY from Shanahan and his discipline department, or whatever it's called.

It really sucks because Pacioretty was finally getting his game back. He was skating fast and shooting hard like before...

It's not over though. If Pacioretty tells Shanny the things he likes to hear during his explanation, he might avoid a suspension.

As far as the league being rigged, how about that Biron start?
We're now hearing of rigged tennis matches. NHL could be next...
This has been rigged in favor of the US markets for that last 20 years. Where have you been hiding??

All that Boston hate Is ruining your judgment.
5/7 suspended players from USA this season. probably same year before.

Facts show no bias whatsoever. now if you want to dwell on this hit or that slash, go ahead.

They started Biron because the Habs tend to light up Lundqvist in Montreal. Torts probably was hoping to get the French goalie benefit by starting Biron.

Agreed.....What a bunch of buuuuuulllllshiiiit

Orr is allowed to run around like a freaking neanderthal and not even get a hearing....
Grabovsky get hungry...Canibal style and gets off.

If Pacioretty is suspended I will be very disappointed.

It's too bad McDonough got hurt on the play but like you say this is a hockey play.
Pacioretty doesn't leave his feet....Was it boarding.....YES...suspend-able act.....Not in my eyes!

Almost an identical play with Shenn on Gallagher! NO SUSPENSION

Well, not that I would ever defend the Bruins, but they did have one game cancelled due to a snowstorm.

Looking ahead at their schedule, they basically play every second night from today till April 27th. (Only once will they have two days off in a row: March 28th and 29th.)

By contrast, the Habs will have two days off in a row 8 times between now and April 27th. The Habs do, however, play more back to back games...

And Patches doesn't deserve a suspension. It's a phone call with Shanahan, not a face to face meeting, so it shouldn't be too severe.

11/58 suspensions going to canadian teams last year. I dont see US homerism there and im not a yankee.

Max Will get suspended cause he had to show up to the meeting. phone hearings usually end up with a fine.

IMO, people need to brace themselves for a 2 game suspension. Not what I think he deserves, but he'll get suspended.

"The Montreal Canadiens forward has a phone hearing scheduled for Sunday with National Hockey League Director of Player Safety Brendan Shanahan for his hit on New York Rangers defenceman Ryan McDonagh Saturday."

We are talking about Tortorella here...What's suspicious there? Lundqvist had had all sorts of problems in Montreal. There is that "francophone backup" theory that do exist in Montreal. Tortorella went with the odds. He lost. Chances are he'll go back to Lundqvist next time and see if Henrik can handle it.

You're all nuts. That was a head shot. 3-4 games minimum. I'll bet any amount of money.

Oh **** I tried it again and it resulted in 3 games this time. Man this wheel of justice is very realistic, it even takes count of the inconsistency of the NHL.

Didn't look like Pacioretty targeted the head. Looked like he hit him between the numbers and the force drove McDo's head into the glass. I expect a suspension but I don't see where any part of Pacioretty's body hit the head.

Lucic got a strong hockey play
Marchand Hockey play
Ference 1 game

Proof Habs are being discriminated against.

TBH, I stopped predicting. I'm okay with a suspension and okay without one. I don't understand the league's standards so I refuse to pretend I do. Really no clue what will happen. I find league inconsistent at times so it's really a guess at this point.

Actually, Hansen was a headshot and got 1 game. Pacioretty was a boarding play but is a repeat offender.
