We were discussing the usa homerism and the rigging against Mtl. Im sure Habs fans were angry to see Biron in net since they are owning Lundqvist so much. Yeah right. 4-5-2 at Bell.
But true Tortorella is a nutcase.
Just imagine starting Budaj on a rested night because xyz owns Price. Im sure you would like that a lot.

Weird Shanahan's decisions, refs turning suddenly blind, weird seleÁtion of shooters in shootouts, complete meltdown of teams who win on the road against top teams but after showing no life at home against bottom feeders.

Just starting to wonder, not ready to declare the game corrupted yet.

Wow such bs... This is a strong hockey play, McDonagh should have known better.

He saw him coming it and turned into it, head down as well...

I wish players stopped doing this.

Be it as it may, Pacioretty should've probably eased off a tiny bit. I don't find it dirty per se but Max didn't need to hammer him in.

The league is so inconsistent, it's impossible to predict. I personally don't think it's a supsension but...

Thing is....Biron wins, Tortorella is a genius. Biron loses...Tortorella is corrupted. There's a fine line to which I'm not ready to cross. And refs turning suddenly blind...if by suddenly you mean till the start of referreing in all pro sports...well I say I agree. But come on....it's not worst now than it was before. It's just tough to be a referee. People have just no clue about how tough it can be. Though, there are some worst guys than others....So are those guys bought? Or are they just...bad?

Something tells me that Pacioretty as in him to be quite physical and strong on his checks. The only thing he'd learn from the past is to not upset Chara....But that's about it. He won't change his game. Thing is if he continues racking the suspensions....he will be a marked man all over....and he can't want that.

hell no. if anything, with a suspension pending, he should have thrown up the elbow and made it worth while.

on a more serious note, I doubt anything happens but it's upsetting to see these types of hits go unpunished nightly. however when it is a hab, we're the one to be made an example. an example which will lead to more inconsistency. they'll go on an 'making example spree' only to realize that, as unfortunate as they are, these type of plays cannot be avoided.

if an elbow come up, or targeted his head, sure give him a suspension. honestly don't see this as even review worthy.

I hope pacioretty continues to finish his checks as such. good hard hit, 9/10 the guy isn't even rattled there.

As far as the league being rigged, how about that Biron start?
We're now hearing of rigged tennis matches. NHL could be next...
Lundqvist's career stats in MTL:
12 games
3.87 GAA
.876 sv%

Biron's career stats in MTL:
18 games
2.54 GAA
.912 sv%

SHOCKING who ended up starting in MTL.

I'm already mad that there's a hearing. If there's a suspension I'll...I'll... I'll set the building on fire.

By contrast, the Habs will have two days off in a row 8 times between now and April 27th. The Habs do, however, play more back to back games...

And Patches doesn't deserve a suspension. It's a phone call with Shanahan, not a face to face meeting, so it shouldn't be too severe.
Where did you hear that it's a phone hearing? I looked around all over for that info, I even sent Tiwtter messages to about 7 guys who cover the Habs (not that they ever respond) and got nothing.

Kypreos is pretty reliable.
Now with Lavoie confirms it.

Still want it to be confirmed by TSN.

I suspect Lavoie may just be basing it off Kyper's tweet.

No suspension or fine for Max Pacioretty. Hearing that Marc Bergevin did a great job to protect his player.
