frustrating watching the real top dogs in the east like boston and pittsburgh take care of the weaker teams. thats one of the big differences between them and bubble teams like the devils, they dont often lose games against bottom teams.

They only bottom feeder we've played is Washington and we're 2-1 against them.

The real test is how you play against top teams, not bottom teams. If I counted correctly, we have points in 8 of the 9 games we've played against teams seeded 1-8.

Devils have often played to the level of their opponent. But being behind Boston and Pittsburgh in the regular season is not a shock considering the are probably the top 2 in the conference.

Would like the Bolts to rally back and defeat the Pens in the 3rd but I don't think its going to happen. Tampa is going nowhere with that defense

No clue why the Isles didn't pull the goalie there...tired Hurricanes on the ice after an icing...and 2 minutes left.

Instead they wait until the Tavares line is dead tired and spend 30 seconds in their own zone with an empty net. What do coaches have against pulling the goalie early?

I look at it this way. Pittsburgh winning pushes us further behind them, but Tampa winning pushes them closer to us. Our team just gave the Jets some points to get them closer to the bubble too.

Now I would have been much more happier had Tampa Bay won their game against Pittsburgh, but the Isles beat the Canes. Of course the Isles choked, and couldn't beat the Canes. Of course next time they beat the Devils, Rangers, or Penguins they'll be back in the playoff conversation though!

Woof the Canucks/Wings game. I tried to find some solace in the Devils game yesterday, and turned it off in the 3rd period to watch the Canucks game.

It was 5 to 3 Wings, and then the Wings scored a 6th. I went back and forth to find it 8-3 Wings, ouch.

So who do we want in the Leafs, Flyers game? I'm going with the Leafs. No 3 point game if worst come to worse though.

How is Philly in the top 8 with how ****in awful they've been playing? Has to be because everyone has at least a game in hand on them.

I'm going with Montreal tonight too.
