OK, sounds like Renaud's reporting it based on his sources.

Renaud Lavoie @RenLavoieRDS
No suspension or fine for Max Pacioretty. Hearing that Marc Bergevin did a great job to protect his player.
EDIT:
Well... it seems that my post was "old news"!

Cue the Habs get special treatment from the NHL posts on HF and the the NHL hates the Rangers posts from Ranger fans.

Based on precedent, its a good no suspension. However, that's the kind of reckless play I wish was suspended. Hopefully they look into it in the future. Still, Glad Patches didn't add another one to his record, hopefully he improves on letting his emotions get the better of him.

What could Bergevin have done to help?
What a smooth talker.

So apparently Bergevin really helped out Pacioretty.
Can't wait to see the NHL video though.

I suspect Lavoie may just be basing it off Kyper's tweet.
Not a big deal, but to me he's easily the most trustworthy in the English media when it comes to the Habs. Renaud Lavoie when it comes to French media.

I don't think there's always an NHL video when there's no suspension? I might be wrong.

Turns out Rangers fans were right. No suspension because the cheapshot was on a Rangers player. Good call on their part. They know their stuff.

I don't understand this. I don't even understand why they have hearings with Players.
You look at a sequence, and you make a judgment. You don't need to know what a player was thinking, or his GM.
This makes it all look like a sale's pitch.

Happy about the call. That being said, I wish Ryan a smoot recovery if he is injured.

Have to give the accused a chance to defend themselves.

Isn't there a clause in the constitution that says everybody has the right to have a fair trial, and be allowed to actually participate at said trial?
