Defensive zone turnovers and mediocre goaltending will get you every time.

Another blown lead. They cannot keep allowing the other team to get back in the game.

Tough for Luongo though. One goes off Ballard's ass and the other is a tip from Hamhuis.

Tatar and Flip had genuinely good chances too.

Howard needs to do better on at least 2 of those 3 goals, if not all three.

That's why abilcater has no buisness being in the top 6. Pocket picked and abused.

I think this crowd is going to get tired from all these goals lol. Seriously bad defensive breakdowns for both teams

Come on Howard, step it up.
haha are you serious? bang-bang cross crease goal. Perfect deke and placement by Sedin on the 2nd. Holds his post like he's supposed to on the wrap attempt and Higgins places the 3rd extremely well.

Funny how every single one of these happened right in front of the net.

They just manage to make these ridiculous plays look easy. It's great to watch, but not against your own team.

I don't mean "freaks" as an insult though. We got our own freak in Datsyuk...

This could be a 7-6 final.

Kindl is such a tease. When he plays composed you can see glimpses of the high end player he was drafted to be. Wish we would have gotten the same treatment as Ericsson. Oh well.

Amazing stat to me.

Cleary has almost as much ice-time as both Sedin's combined in that first period

Those were some pretty amazing goals by Van. Not much Howie could do. The wrap around was pretty lucky... down low on the far side? Come on.

Agreed. But apparently a break-away and cross-crease goals are easy to stop?

How did this team win yesterday? Seems like they forgot how too.

IIRC Howard has always been awful when playing both games in a back-to-back

Yeah, I figured it was all in good fun.

Datsyuk totally froze our D there before the eventual delayed penalty goal.

Given time, Kindl can still be a decent player. Like Big E did though, he still needs a year or two and ice time.

Howard should've had that last one. Hopefully we can get back to how we were playing after the first Sedin goal.

I agree, but still...what was he supposed to do? He held the post. The shot snuck by him, barely, far side. Everything a goalie does has a hole. That shot found it. It's up to the shooter to nails those holes...although I think it rolled off his stick and he got lucky.

The first two? Not on him, and anyone here thinking otherwise don't know their hockey, and just looking for a scapegoat.

Just wanted to say that I love the wings. good god, both our teams last games were against the horrible team nashville. Watching paint dry is far more entertaining. I will always respect your team. It will be a bit sad not playing you guys as much once the conference re alignment happens.

good luck.

It is not just this game or this period. Howard has had 3 good/great games this season, while he has had many bad games. It is 3 goal on 7 shots no matter how you slice it.
