Enjoy the rest of the game if that's actually possible for a few of you.

I think you need to pour yourself a beer.

He's saying we shouldn't be negative because we haven't seen how the entire game has gone. I disagree. If the game turns around, then yeah, there will be positive comments, but from what we've seen so far, it doesn't look like that's the way it's headed.

Ugh. Feeling so negative about this team right now.
To be honest, I recall Peluso rushing up the ice and I thought it was someone else.. was skating oddly smoothly for a man his size. If he just focused more on playing hockey instead of trying to fight everyone he might turn out alrighty

Lord only knows if this will happen. I'm starting to not like the "old boys club" philosophy from TNSE if it means for this team to consistently finish out of the playoffs beyond this year.

Next year should be interesting. Antro, Hainsey, Wellwood, Clitsome and Miettenen will be UFA's.

Yeah, I'm not feeling too bad about our top 6 and what should be our top 4 D-men. The problem is that the rest of the team is laughably bad. Our third line, that looked so positive at the start of the season (Ponikarovsky/Antropov/Burmistrov) is now Tangradi/Jokinen(who's not a defensive player)/Wright. How did that happen?

I haven't really seen any negatives in Peluso's game today.
I've actually thought he's looked like a solid fourth liner in the NJD zone.

I'm really not sure how much of this is on the coaches or the players. The team just looks like a mess most nights. The biggest problem is that this team only has one legit plus playmaker in the top 6 in Wheeler which is why the LLW line is clicking. Outside of this we lack creativity of any substance on our second and third lines and is one of the reasons why I am not happy that our coaches didn't give Scheifele a chance in the top 6 as he could of possibly provided that. Outside of this we seem to have too many holes in the lineup and too many passangers it seems.

The only pieces I want to keep:

Upfront:

Ladd
Kane
Wheeler
Slater
and possible Burmistrov

Defense:

Bogosian
Enstrom
Redmond
Stuart

The rest can go for all I care.

Peluso actually looked quick, but Antro looks quick skating alongside Tangradi.

Trouble is, there is almost zero scoring potential from the bottom 6. As soon as they fall behind, it changes the offence-defence equation.
With the exception of Antro/Jokinen, the bottom 6 are all 4th liners.

Ran to the toilet about 10 times during that period.

Have to assume it was from the on ice play.

Also, I agree with the people that says that Buff should sit until he's healthy. He's a liability out there right now. He's not a good transitional defender to start with, and he's pretty much the slowest guy on the ice right now.

From what I've seen, he seems to be out of position quite a bit. Meh, I'll give him a chance, just not really liking what I've seen.

And with Antropov on the ice with him, that's saying something!

Right. We should all just be elated that this team makes the same stupid mistakes game in and game out.

We should be delighted that we give leads and games away with shoddy clearing and goaltending, and a team that should easily make the playoffs in the Southeast will hand it away again.

You can be as positive as you want but I do and will always expect more from my team. When they play well and lose I can accept that. When they are making stupid mistakes over and over then, yeah, I might be a little pissed.

But thanks for your point of view, we are all entitled to look at it the way we want.
