Please Lou; get "angry Lemaire" on a plane to NJ.

All it will take is one week and he'll have the defense playing great. Then let him go home and summon him again when/if needed.

In fact, I wish Jacques Lemaire was like Beetlejuice - just say his name three times and he appears in the Devils locker room.

The Penatly kill is a problem that isnt going away unless they get someone from another franchise. Solution will not come from within.

Just because the Devils are losing doesn't mean they are playing bad....

Is it just me or is Salvador and Volchenkov both offensively inept when the puck comes to their stick at the point????? Salvador usually glides to the boards and flings a weak wrist shot at the net.

They were all individual errors more than anything. The Devils are flying compared to their last few games.

Too late, the Rangers heard he likes to block shots and already signed him to a 6 year deal.
Yeah, of course, he brings the perfect elements for a fourth-liner.

Is that the basketball player? Can he fall down in the crease during OT?

Quick question guys. Whose backing up tonight and would Keith be the callup if brodeur misses any significant time?

What?? This is outrageous. Down by a goal at the end of 2 periods...clearly playing like the worst team in the league.

They've always been that way. Which is what makes Salvador's offensive production in the playoffs last year even more odd.

It does tonight by the sound of it. Atrocious defense, atrocious goaltending, etc.

Uh it's all mental errors. They are clearly rattled by the struggles thus far and it's just multiplying. It can be fixed from within.

I think other teams recognise this too. They know which defencemen are offensive threats, so they overload the right point and allow Volch and Sal to take the weak shots.

Yes, and he can even do it in regulation too!

Kinkaid probably will be the call up and Brodeur is backing up.

From the sounds of it he's sore, and I guess he must've either hurt it in warm-ups or some lingering pain is bothering him.

It's more goaltending. Moose had to stop some of those. Last one especially. If it was Marty who gave that up the Marty needs to retire thread would of been bumped immediately.

JJ is a lefty. We have too many righties, not enough lefties. Plus JJ is a center.
