7-5 Canucks
Burrows score in this PP, Daniel ties it up with the hatty.
Kesler puts us ahead then burrows with the empty netter

I GET IT but that apostrophe on Gaunce's jersey looks so dumb.

That's what I thought too. But didn't they announce it as a minor on Kassian?

Yup, he took CoHo's honourary spot.

It takes the efforts of more than one person to have this many goals against (unless that one person is named Cloutier). Luongo is not without blame here, but he is surely not alone.

Pretty hilarious that some of the people here right now complaining about Luongo facing unwarranted criticism are the first ones to crucify Schneider any time he gives up more than two goals in a game

For doing the same thing all coaches do every game: complaining about a non-call.

Hard to really fault Luongo.
Garrison has been pretty bad, as what seems to be per usual.

Here's what I think of Kesler.
I think his body is literally ****ing broken. He's always whincing and having his ankle/leg/arms buckle.

Get off the ice if you can't play, bud.

Sedins are wizards.
Burr looks great.

We need more forecheck.

Refereeing has been the worst we've seen this season.

Tootoo is a turtle, I feel bad for the Wings faithful who have to watch this guy. He's not so much annoying as an opponent, just annoying as someone who respects the game.

That's my take.

The officiating has been shockingly bad this game.

Completely laughable considering this is the team's first bench minor this year. You think they might be pissed at the refs for a reason?

Like Hodgson, Torres, Wellwood, and Bernier before him.

It's not about the goals with luongo it's about his style and mechanics. You don't want any bad habits creeping back into his game after such a great start to the year.

Luongo has sucked, but the skaters have been just as bad or worse. Throw Schneider in and hope the Red Wings sit back.

Still, it'd be nice to see some progress in what has become the worst 2nd period team in the league (relative to their play the rest of the time). It's just a complete momentum killer which can be deadly in the playoffs. I don't think it's mere coincidence that pretty much every time the games got out of hand in the 2011 playoffs that it happened in the 2nd period.

All the Schneider fans are coming out of the woodwork to hang this on Luongo, after their guy had his feet held to the fire after two mediocre performances against Dallas. So predictable.

PK has been a back breaker with missed coverages and deflections up front. The Canucks manage only 2 shots the entire period and none on PP.

How did the refs not see the high stick on the disallowed goal? They shouldn't have had to phone Toronto on that. It just shows how bad the refs are tonight. Phantom penalties, missed calls, just terrible one-sided reffing. Detroit fans will cry about the other disallowed goal, but Luongo had possession so delayed penalty should be called. No Red Wings fans, the zebras have been entirely in your pockets tonight.

luongo having a terrible game? big deal, every goalie has em . hes been pretty bad ass this season so far, its just one game. the score doesn't matter as much as the goal differential. we're down by 2 goals, thats what we should be talking about. its not 5-0
