Complaining about reffing just makes you look stupid. You get bad calls, you get good calls. You roll with it and kill the penalties off. It's their defense that sucks and Lu is having an off night.
Hey guys I missed the first two periods. I obviously missed a lot... how has Kindl looked? And is Cleary playing as well as the stat-sheet says?
Kindl has been OK. I liked him on the PP. I also saw him take a guy out on the boards, get the puck and make a nice break-out pass on the same play.
But he hasn't played a lot
Kronwall has sucked.
He scores a bunch of points for 3 games so now he's great?
I'd appreciate it if you responded to the post instead of trying to make stupid and ill-informed posts about me.
Yeah, saying 'he sucks' is a great post. Kronwall hasn't been very good defensively, like the rest of the core, but he's made up for a lot of it by scoring a lot from the defensive side. So no, he doesn't 'suck'.

I think he looks good tonight. Looks very composed and calm with the puck. He's actually getting pretty decent minutes and seems like he is getting a good amount of PP time. Good game for him I'd say so far.

Canucks have been hosed hard. There's been at least 4 penalties against the Wings that were not called.

I think Kronner has looked better the past few games. When he is an offensive and physical threat, he is usually better defensively because opposition players are more timid around him. The more Kronner is engaged offensively the more he is engaged overall, so these past few games are a good sign for him. The other games though he has largely been awful. Kronwall has the ability to be something more than Gonchar 2.0.

I didn't say it was a great post.
But Kronwall has SUCKED.
He's had three good games -- and even in these games he's getting bailed out by his goalie.
So yes, he sucks. Or does GLARING -8 not make the point clear enough for you?
Look, If Kronwall is rocking the PP for a couple weeks, great.
But three productive games isn't enough for me to erase the first 18-- And he outright SUCKED for 18 games
kronwall would be an amazing #2 dman, possibly one of the top #2 dmen in the league, the problem is he isnt a #1 but is being tasked with that job the year after we lose arguably the greatest dmen of all-time, coupled with a number of newer and weaker dmen overall under his watch(or that he feels responsible for) at the same time as the leagues highest man games lost to injury among our d-corps
if we can find a legit #1 dman or even a legit 1a dmen kronwall would not be having as mnay problems
Vancouver's personality brings on the bad calls they get.
Too many divers/whiners and wimps on that team crying for calls.
It's true, some of the calls have been brutal against the Nucks, but you can't complain when your players keep yapping at the refs for calls and get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
When you have Swedes who play hard and play tough and don't wait for refs to stick up for them, I like them.
Even though Z is a bit of a puss some times, I like Z a lot. He doesn't whine and cry at the refs like the Sedins.
There will be no greater tragedy in the great sport of hockey than if all or mor players develop attitudes like Crosby. diving, crying, pissing and moaning. Not to mention the way he taunts and has a big mouth but runs away when challenged.
